I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. Good food containers make all the difference. No more repurposing leftover Chinese food takeout containers! This set is absolutely worth the investment. They’re super thick and nicely made. I actually think they look like glass! Hands down, my favorite feature is the built-in vents so I can reheat a container with the lid on. I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve had to clean off all sides of my microwave because something splattered. Lately I have been making salad dressings in the 1.3 cup size. The latches on the lid snap securely into place so I can really give it a good shake. And then, the ultimate test: I packed up my lunch and carried it to and from work on the crowded train. My soup was kept airtight, no leaks to speak of, and the containers stacked perfectly on top of each other in my lunch bag to be portable. My set still looks brand new after several cycles through my dishwasher and a week in the freezer. Even my bright red marinara sauce didn’t stain! I want one in every size they make.

In short: These containers are awesome! Spill-proof, don't stink, sturdy and keep food really fresh! I do food prep every Sunday - things like making a big batch of soup and roasting a ton of vegetables - to make eating healthy throughout the week easier. So I used a LOT of storage containers. I am so happy with these Rubbermaid Brilliance Food Storage Containers. They kept the food really fresh for days and I don't have to worry at all about throwing a container of soup in my bag to heat up for lunch. Not only does it not spill, but also, even after heating up a tomato soup in them, they didn't stain or stink! I also love that they stack nicely for storage in my itty bitty kitchen. I'll be for sure buying more of these and replacing some of my older, grimier looking food storage containers. I have plastic containers, glass containers and even a tin container, so I've tried them all. I love this one the best! The packaging boasted a 100% leak-proof guarantee to avoid spills and leaks and made with BPA free material. I take stews and food with sauces to work, and I've experienced spills in the past, so I was willing to give this a try. It worked amazingly well. I could literally hold the container upside down and not a drop seeped out! A feature that I hadn't seen in any other product is the way in which you can flip the lid latches up when microwaving. This way, you don't have to even open the lid… just take the container out of the fridge, lift the latches and insert in the microwave oven. I didn't have to deal with any splatter nor did I have to cover it with a paper towel. It's also very easy to see all the contents – the container and the lid are crystal clear, all around. That, plus how easy it is to stack several items, makes picking out the right container in the morning very easy. At the store where I got it, they had them stacked on display. I tried shifting them around and liked how stable they were on top of each other – no wiggle room whatsoever. That'll come in handy when I get more containers. No more containers slipping left and right in the fridge. I would recommend this for anyone who takes food to work. Easy to spot which container you want on your way out in the morning, easy to transport, easy to microwave your lunch and when you get home… just pop it in the dishwasher. Very convenient!

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried out the Rubbermaid Brilliance container in the 3.2 cup size. It's a nice clear, sturdy, glass-like container. However, since it isn't actually glass it's very light. It's a good food storage size for leftovers or work/school lunches of any sort. It's especially useful for soups, sauces and other liquids due to the unique spill proof lid. The container is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe, making it very versatile. I did microwave some leftover soup in the container and it was splatter-proof as claimed. I havent yet used it in the freezer, and I currently have pancake batter in it. I'm glad to see it is BPA free and I do love the flat stackable lid. I find the price point on the expensive side, but based on my experience so far, I think it will be a useful addition to the kitchen. I would like to get a few more containers in other sizes. these containers would be useful for anyone, and I could see them as a nice way to present food to someone or part of a housewarming or shower gift.

The new line of containers from my old friend Rubbermaid is fabulous! They look fantastic, and are easy to use. The seal keeps even the runniest of liquids from leaking, the microwave vents keep everything clean and splatter free, and they hold up to punishment from the dishwasher AND the freezer (I froze some lunch to keep it fresh and it doubled as an ice pack to keep my other food cold!) The 3.2 cup container is big enough for my lunch, and we liked it so much we bought the 8 piece set which includes a 9.6 cup large container for hubby's big construction worker lunches. He can take my homemade stew to work on cold days with no more lunch bag messes. They also stack neatly in the cupboard or a lunch bag. I'm definitely recommending these to all my friends ❤

Other products may say they are leak proof but this one actually is. It's crystal clear, splatter resistant in the microwave due to the built in vents on the latches. It is stain resistant. No more stained containers! I've used this product for soups and stews and it did not leak or stain. I will definitely be buying more of these containers!
