My hubby took this container up moose hunting with left over spaghetti(mixed with hamburger, spaghetti sauce and melted cheese) He was eating it on his 9hr plus drive up to northern Ontario, which he was gone a total of 8 day's! The Rubbermaid Brillance container was left in the vehicle the entire trip and a few days after returning with out washing....I figured it was going to be well stained due to the red sauce and thought of mold growing in it, yuck! I thought for sure I might have to throw it out....butupon it's return no green stuff growing in it and it cleaned up so well, you would not have known that it was even used ....excellent product

You can see from the top, bottom, and all sides but the TIGHT seal it has makes it earn it's 5-star rating because it contains odors and liquid.

This is a really great product! You can pack anything in there and it will not leak. Some products say they are leak proof, but this product is really leak proof. The glass is a great for heating things up without worrying about warping from plastic. The extra containers that it comes with are perfect for storing salad dressing and toppings or just if you don't want all of your food touching. I No leakage, there is a thin rubber seal that keeps liquids from leaking out of the containers. They stack on each other nicely for storage and space in the refrigerator. The side locks will lift up and reveal a small hole. That whole is for ventilation in the microwave . It is great being able to keep the lid on and prevent splattering . The containers come in a variety of sizes and are dishwasher safe.

We plan on getting a full set of these in all shapes for sure!!! it washes up beautifully and holds a decent amount of stuff. Just wish there was a easier storage way for their upkeep. The lids are easy to snap on and make them leak proof. They are plastic and light weight also. It makes a great gift set for someone setting up an apartment or new house.

I did try putting soup in it, and it really is leak proof, no leaks at all! It looks like a glass container but is made of plastic so it's light and still looks great! I highly recommend it! Lots of containers seem to be leak proof. But Rubbermaid Brillance really is.
