(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I tried out the Rubbermaid Brilliance container in the 3.2 cup size. It's a nice clear, sturdy, glass-like container. However, since it isn't actually glass it's very light. It's a good food storage size for leftovers or work/school lunches of any sort. It's especially useful for soups, sauces and other liquids due to the unique spill proof lid. The container is microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe, making it very versatile. I did microwave some leftover soup in the container and it was splatter-proof as claimed. I havent yet used it in the freezer, and I currently have pancake batter in it. I'm glad to see it is BPA free and I do love the flat stackable lid. I find the price point on the expensive side, but based on my experience so far, I think it will be a useful addition to the kitchen. I would like to get a few more containers in other sizes. these containers would be useful for anyone, and I could see them as a nice way to present food to someone or part of a housewarming or shower gift.

Filled it up with water when I got home just to test it out and no leaking what so ever I definitely recommend this container to people would be great for bringing soups and such to work for a nice how lunch!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love these containers and they are truly air tight. The lid locks down and creates a tight seal yet is easy to put on and take off. I live at the beach and it is so humid. I can put food in these and they aren't damaged by the humidity at all. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is I'm afraid the plastic could break or crack easily. With three kids and 2 cats things easily get knocked down and I'm afraid they wouldn't survive a fall.

I plan to get a larger one to store leftovers in the fridge. It washes up easily with no staining. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone needing quality storage containers.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product works extreextremely well. Locks in all the liquids but allows you to microwave with the lid on, incredible! Not too hot to handle but be careful when removing the lid! Unlike some containers this one hasn't absorbed the stain of what was microwaved in it. Only downfall is the cost, I would be hesitant to send this to school with my child in case they forgot to bring it home.

I also love that this container is leak-proof - and I put it to the test. And the fact that it doesn't stain and is dishwasher, microwave, and freezer safe - icing on the cake! Unfortunately for me, the container is an awkward shape and size for my lunch bag, so at home it shall stay.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) This product is AMAZING!! Other containers, you pop the side tabs up and the lid almost falls off immediately. With the Rubbermaid container, even after releasing the side clasps, you still need to give the lid a good tug upwards to get it to come open !! .. Since I have gotten it a couple of days ago, it has only really held my peanut and tree nut free cookies, but they are still very fresh as if I had just taken them out of their packaging, normally they are starting to go a bit soft and or stale after just a couple of days. My next test with this container is to store some homemade pancake or waffle batter in it for a couple of days to see if A) it leaks and/or B) if the batter forms a thin skin over the top of it from being stored in the fridge.

I was lucky enough to get to try out the Rubbermaid Brilliance medium-sized container (3.2 cups), for free. I am actually quite impressed by the design of this container. The Tritan plastic the container is made of gives the container a good, sturdy design, which is good because it doesn't soften when it contains hot food. I very much think that it is going to be a durable container after many uses and would resist breaking if accidentally dropped. The feature that I find most impressive for this container is its leak-proof design. The rubber seal between the lid and the container is really snug, and I could tell that the lid created a good seal even before testing it because you can hear and feel the air being forced out of the container when you put the lid on. The latches clip down nice and tight; locking your food safely inside. Once seal, this container really DOESN'T leak. I literally tried filling it with water and proceeded to tip the container upside-down and shake it about to test it, and it didn't leak a single drop! Thus far I have used my container for lunches for work - so sandwiches, salads and leftovers that I reheat in the microwave. It definitely keeps my lunchables fresh, and does a fine job of reheating my food. The vents located under the latches of the container are quite convenient. Just one note - make sure to remember not to grab your container by the latches once reheating to avoid burning yourself, as that's where the steam comes out of the container. I definitely recommend this product to anyone as I believe it would be very well suited for most people and everyday life/use. Note that I make one possible exception to this. It might not be as well suited for those suffering from arthritis as the seal of the container has a lot of suction behind it and might be difficult to open. My mother has arthritis, and she would indeed have difficulty getting the lid off.

It's a good size but I can see this product will get scratched easily. The lid was scratched by the time I got home. Easy reheat and handwashes well. No pasta sauce was left behind. I put pasta in it and reheated and it didn't become discoloured so that was a nice surprise! Tossed it around no leaks through the seal
