My husband packs a lunch to work every day and because of the compartments and the great seal, his lunch makes it to work in good condition and their are no leaks in his cooler. I wish I had gotten him some of these a long time ago. The fact that these don't stain is a major plus as well, because it's gross to use containers that have stains. They never look clean. I am in awe of these products because they are perfectly clear! When I chop vegetables or fruit for my kids each week, they know exactly what's inside and can go straight to it. The lids are easy to snap on, and easy to clean. I have now tossed out old Rubbermaid containers that were stained from red sauce and replaced them with this 6-piece set. You could also use it for other dry ingredients such as flour, sugar, pasta, coffee, etc. It has a latch that helps to keep it air tight and helps prevent spills if it gets knocked over. It has a wide pour spout making it easy to pour out my cereal and it is easy to close. I like that it is clear so I can see how much is left in the container. It is durable and also easy to clean. I plan to get more of these containers for my other dry ingredients. I would love it if I could find one like it for my bread.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Hello, this product is useful for all people. Well maybe not seniors with sore hands. It locks AMAZINGLY tight. Keeps what ever is in it fresh. This unit is just great. I am looking forward to using this things for a long time. It washes up great. I put on top shelf of dishwasher. This is very different from other seal containers, as it has a very tight seal. It is difficult to pop open, which means that the seal is good. The shape is very cool as well. I really hoped these would be amazing food storage containers. I actually ditched all of my old containers when I bought these, because the promise and trust of the Rubbermaid brand is so strong with me. However, after using them for a few months, I've realized they really don't hold up that well at all. All of my containers have developed stress cracks in various places, and have also showed bubbling along the walls. Is that bubbling plastic making it into the food I'm eating? :\ I'd love to continue to buy additional ones of these from Rubbermaid, but these just haven't been reliable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I knew the first day I used these that I was a fan. I packed away all my old Rubbermaid containers just to make room for more of these. Sturdy bowls and latches with a tight seal that does NOT leak, spaghetti, casserole, a sandwich, soup, it's all safe, nothing is getting in or out and they seem to be resisting stains really well. No red bowls yet! Pack your lunch, save your left overs, they work great either way.

I bought these Tupperware a few months ago however today when I pulled it out of the microwave with the top off you can see where the plastic started to bubble and boil. Needless to say I did not feel great about eating my lunch that day. Not sure why this happened however, sucks that it did.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Anyone can use this container it's leak proof and very sturdy . I've used it for almost everything from gravies to cake. I feel like it keeps the food fresher longer because of the tight seal it has . I usually use it for work so I don't have to worry about opening my lunch bag and having a spill in it. The only downfall is you can not fill it with bulky items to the rim or it will not seal. But I like it , it is very used in my house . And it a very good looking container.

There is not as much differentiating these from other plastic containers, but the glass ones in this set are so nice that there is benefit to having ones with compatible lids
