[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for storage in our pantry. Great for cereal or cookies we use it to store out dry chilies in there but we will be purchasing more for cooking and stuff like that. The seal on them is great and it keeps food fresh .

I purchase this large set and liked it so much that I asked for another set for a gift. I have had them for about 6 months. I do not have a dishwasher so all are hand wash. I do not put in the freezer. When using in the microwave they are vented. I have 6 that have cracks large enough that the liquid leaks out. I expected them to last much longer. I have Tupperware that is 20 years old except they are stained. That’s one of the reason I wanted these. Not a happy consumer.

I think these are great containers but I don't know about the stainshield part. I had discoloration after using the set to store leftovers. I tried every home remedy and toxic chemical to remove the discoloration and nothing has worked. I paid too much for them to just throw them away but I am disappointed that the sleek look has been ruined. Beware of the lack of stainshield!

I have used other brands in the past that you have to burp in order to make sure food is airtight. These are much easier to use with the locking handles on both sides. I love that they are stackable and make your pantry look well organized. Food stays fresh as if you just opened up the package. They seem to be very well made and durable. Multiple sizes for different needs are available. I am overall very pleased with this product and highly recommend them to anyone that wants to keep their food safe and fresh!

I was excited to try out the Rubbermaid Brilliance food container because my current food containers have really let me down (from leaks, food not lasting that long, containers getting damaged from microwave use). Well, let me tell you, this particular food container by Rubbermaid is amazing! My food lasts longer and is much fresher, they work great in the microwave, the clear containers are great to see what's inside and there is no problem with using these in the microwave. I am definitely recommending Rubbermaid Brilliance to everyone I know, and I am throwing out all my old containers and replenishing my cupboard with these ones!

I don't have to worry about my food splattering inside the microwave and clean up is a breeze. I need more of these in my life. I highly recommend this product. I know I'm getting more. I No leakage, there is a thin rubber seal that keeps liquids from leaking out of the containers. They stack on each other nicely for storage and space in the refrigerator. The side locks will lift up and reveal a small hole. That whole is for ventilation in the microwave . It is great being able to keep the lid on and prevent splattering . The containers come in a variety of sizes and are dishwasher safe.
