The number one benefit is that they don't stain, so they remain crystal clear and easy to view the food inside. I also like that you can heat food in the microwave without having to remove the lid - just open the vents. And last, but certainly not least, they stack very well in the refrigerator, so they end up very little space.

You can even hear the suction of the top and bottom when closing. Like that its clear so you know exactly what is in the container. I would recommwnd thia S to wveryone that wants to save their lwftover and keep them fresh.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Rubbermaid Pantry Airtight Food Storage Containers are a perfect for for my pantry. They are easy for the kids to reach and easy to close. I used to just place the cereal bags in the pantry and a couple of days later it was stale. These storage containers lock tight and keep my food fresh longer.

I like the more expensive clear plastic containers. But they have started cracking (splitting). I just lost 3 in the last couple of days. I am careful, and follow the warnings, for example I never put them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher. Bottom Line: There is a serious flaw in these containers so I will not purchase any more Rubbermaid containers.

(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) When I heard about this container I was skeptical about it, really you can microwave with the lid on, it's 100% leak proof? Even for soup and most importantly its stain resistant? Yeah right! But really, it does all those things and more! It'd 100% leak proof in all the tests I tried. I shook it like crazy, my kids went wild. It even made it through a bumpy walk in a backpack, zero leaks! Yes, it can be microwaved too! Just pop it in the microwave, lid and all, make sure you lift up the handles as that's where the vents are and you have a perfectly microwaved dish! Most importantly, would it be stainproof? It actually is, I used my most staining bright red dish to test out this container and even after sitting overnight, microwaving, and being left out, it washed up nice, I washed it by hand too! This container far exceeded my expectations and the price is actually decent!

Just bought these and though the latches are easy to open but the lid itself is difficult to get off. If you put your hand on the lid to pull it off your hand hits the latches and they close. Very frustrating! Will not recommend or buy these again. Waiting to set how long before they start cracking and leaking like the Premier set I have. Very disappointing Rubbermaid.
