The vents are great when microwaving food as it saves me from cleaning up a mess. I also like that it is stain resistant and won't keep smells on it. Leftovers looks much more appealing in the fridge now and so I'm more likely to eat them. I'm definately throwing out my old containers and buying these.

And did I forget to mention that the sound of a snapped lid is a mental high as it reassures me that everything is literally snapped in place? This is a must have for everyone and I highly recommend it!

Lids are cracking. I purchased the medium, small, and sugar containers. Rubbermaid replaced the lid of medium container once. Recently, I bought more containers to give them another try, and I also intended to give some as gifts. However, the small 1.3-cup container developed ridges and its lid as well as medium size cracked. I'm not sure if the containers I gave as gifts also cracked. I'm very frustrated because I was hoping these would be durable storage containers for the long term. The manufacturer has been aware of this issue for years, yet they continue to sell poor-quality products to unsuspecting consumers. It seems that Rubbermaid is making a significant profit, with no incentive to provide customers with a reliable product.

I love my Rubbermaid Brilliance! Some pieces are 3 years old. I use these every. Refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher. Never clouds up. For some reason pieces just disappear 🤣🤣🤣. As some pieces get overused (it’s plastic, it’s going to develop cracks after years), they become long-term storage containers, and not left over containers. Perfect for liquids or of you just need to keep the air out.

They have a great seal when closed. Be careful and follow the directions for cleaning and use or you could damage these containers.
