[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this about a month ago and used it for my cereal. What a difference it's made. My cereal is no longer stale or soggy and I never get the last crumbs in the box because I can see what's left and add it to my grocery list before hand!

Bought it last week coz it looked cool and reviews were good. I dont trust any plastic lids so I always use plastic wrap(heat food for about 1-3 min in the microwave). The container walls melted the plastic wrap and now i have plastic wrap stuck the sides and parts of the insides. I never heard of any container being able to melt/bond with plastic wrap. Nowhere on the package does it say do not use with plastic wrap but it does say it on the pdf file at the 8th bullet point on the use and care instructions. Imagine that. You have to go online to figure out how to safely use a container.

I purchased six months ago and have mixed feelings. I love the aesthetic of them! I love how they stack/nest in the fridge. I don't have a lot of room for storage, so I nest the bowls and have a mess with the lids staying stacked/organized (I bought the 44 piece set). I have not had a problem with cracking, but I don't put in the microwave and I use top rack in dishwasher only. My biggest ick is that I have a very hard time taking the lids off - they're soooo tight! I sometimes have to have my husband pry off the tops - no problems with leaking tho!

I normally have to open every container in the fridge before I can find the one that I'm looking for. These new Rubbermaid BRILLIANCE containers are the perfect solution to my problem. I love that I can easily see what's stored inside. They also come with several pieces that make compartments so that I can separate salads or snacks. Today my son has literacy night at school, Cub Scouts and a baseball game, I packed our dinner in the containers so that we don't have to eat out tonight. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Rubbermaid Brilliance Pantry Starter (7PC) and these storage containers are so great!! The airtight seal on them is the BEST!! They are so easy to open and close. Clear so I know what is in what and all of the different sizes work great for storing so much and they can stack on top of each other. Easy to clean even dishwasher safe. They honestly seem very durable like 5 years from now I will still be loving them.

The Rubbermaid Brilliance 3.2 cup leftover container is streamline and each container is designed to fit with other to maximize your storage room in the fridge and freezer. The seal is amazing and guaranteed. Try it! Test that sucker! Shake it up and down and all over like one of your kids would or the way it would if an accident happened and it went flying. I did! Result? All good, sealed and dry and nothing broken or spilled. :) Rubbermaid Brilliance cost a bit more than other containers but it is clear that this bay is made to LAST. A pet peeve of mine is when tomato based leftovers stain my storage containers, sometimes I forget to use spray oil inside the container to prevent this, with Rubbermaid Brilliance there is no stain! Voila! Shiny as the day you got it! No grubby old container look after a while! I am heavily in like with you Rubbermaid Brilliance!

The only thing I find is if you spill something on the locking closures while using it it an sometimes be hard to get off. But other than that I would recommend this product to everyone ! I have uses mine for soups stews and just about everything. I even bought the bigger one aswell.

It’s lightweight, but to me, that didn’t translate to a good thing - it just feels incredibly cheap. I’m not impressed. Since the container doesn’t feel very strong, I stored things in it that I wouldn’t be sad if they get ruined (i.e. the container cracks) - cucumbers, apple slices, etc. As I said in my glass container review, my one compliant is the plastic handles and the corners - they’re really awkward. Additionally, the design of the mismatched corner shapes don’t make sense to me. They’re easy to grab, but the suction is so strong (which is a good thing, in a way) that they make the container slip out of my hands. Overall, I think this product is an interesting venture for Rubber Maid, but this specific container within this line is a complete miss. I would not recommend it to anyone.
