this is my first gaming computer and I am enjoying it

purchased this computer as a replacement to my old cyberpower gaming pc. got it home, set it up following the 1 flyer they give you for any kind of help or steps. power it up and..... disappointment. the light on the graphics card lit up but nothing else. no display, no lights, no nothing. 3 of the 5 fans were spinning. spent the next few hours with ibuypower tech support. after jumping the power supply, reseating the ram and gpu with minimal change, i was told it was a faulty motherboard and it needed to be exchanged. do they test these things before they send them out? i guess thats what i get, ill be going back to cyberpower from now on..
