The mattress is firm but the cushion top gives it softness. Supportive yet not rock hard. structured sides are good.

This matress is only 4 years old and already sagging badly as well as box springs are broken. I do not recommend this mattress.

Mattress is brand new needs a few days to get used to. The best investment ever my prior mattres gave me back pain and this new mattress is the best.
