This Tide original HE is not at all what I expected. I have been a Tide user since the 1970's, and this is not the same product at all. Unfortuneately I have four bottles of it. I washed clothes today and hung outside to dry. The clothes still smell like wet wool or thrift shop bug bomb. It is overwhelming to sit in the same room with the clothes even now that they are dry. I hate to tell my husband, but we are throwing all these bottles out. I will find something else to use. This is flaring my COPD and giving me a terrible headache.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This laundry detergent cleans clothes very well and you don't need a alot. I use a cap full in my load and if there are stains on your clothing I use a drop or two and rub it in vigorously and let it sit for a few minutes before washing.

This was the first I've used Tide in quite awhile. I did like it, however, it seemed thicker than most detergent and the smell was different and stronger than it used to be. Overall I enjoyed the product and it did what it's supposed to do.

The smell is honestly one of the best, super clean and fresh smelling without being too overwhelming, I noticed that when I’d be done with my laundry the smell still lingers on my clothes which I enjoy. This product always gets my clothes perfectly clean, I had a stained blanket that needed washed and I had forgotten to put stain remover on it however it came out completely removed thanks to this detergent, I was honestly impressed. I will always count on Tide as this brand will never let me down.

I mean, you can feel the difference between the way Tide cleans your clothes and the way other detergents do. I find that my clothes do not fade, are less wrinkled and look fantastic since I started using this detergent. I love that it is strong enough to get the stains out yet gentle enough to tackle all my laundry needs from delicates to smelly athletic clothing. For difficult stains like ink , I rub some of the liquid detergent on it let it set for several minutes , rub it in , then wash as usual and the stain is gone. I love how effective this detergent is and that it comes in a recyclable container, which is very important to my family. I highly recommend this fantastic laundry detergent.

I miss the actual original scent, that smelled clean and fresh. The scent now smells like floral perfume. My family has all noticed and we have switched to Arm and Hammer Fresh Scent- it smells more like Tide Original than Tide Original itself. Its unfortunate because it is effective- but the scent is just not the same.
