I have used original tide forever (despite the outrageous price) because I am highly allergic to other brands. After the formula was revamped, it now causes awful hives on me. Thanks tide for the warning! (Said with sarcasm) hope you plan to reimburse me for the bottles I purchased as well as doctor visits trying to clear the hives caused by this change (don’t worry, I’ve only had the hives for 8 weeks) would have greatly appreciated a warning that the formula changed

I had some dirt and grass stains that disappeared off of my shirt. I also like that the cap twists on and off making it easier to open and close the bottle. The scent is pleasant. I do wish that more plant based ingredients were incorporated into this laundry detergent.

OMG, the new scent is driving me crazy!!! I've spent all day at work wondering what the heck this horrible smell is only to realize it's my pants!!! I did not wash my own laundry this time and was in a rush to get ready for work so I didn't notice when I put them on. After going online and discovering that several people are not happy about this change, I'd like to add my name to the list of people who will not be buying your product until you change it back!!!

OMG, it did an amazing job on my Hubby's work clothes. It even got out the gear grease. I won't ever go back to the old brand. Thank you so much for such a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this sample free of charge from Tide and I am not only blown away by it's performance, but I love the smell as well This detergent tackled my heaviest loads and when you have 3 boys in the house under 10 years of age and a husband that can be pretty messy. But it also worked perfect with baby clothes as it was gentle and didn't leave a harsh feel or smell afterward. This is a great product and I would highly recommend this to anyone especially those with a HE washer/dryer.

I washed with hot water and rinsed with cold. The wash load seemed cleaner brighter, whiter and smelled good (clean). The second load of wash was mixed colors--mostly dark. I washed this load in cold and rinsed with cold. Again the wash seemed cleaner, brighter, and smelled clean.

The original scent is not bad either, it has a fresh odor that my family really enjoys. The 64 load bottle is enough to last our family for about a month in a half. This product has a thick consistency and is more concentrated than ever. I will definitely purchase in the near future and recommend for others to purchase as well.

Using a cold water wash, which this is reportedly designed for, washed as well as other detergents in warm water. This was very effective in removing sweat stains in my gym T-shirt, heavy soiling from my bath towel, and yellowing of an old white T-shirt. It lathered just enough so that it washed away old set in stains, but also rinsed cleanly out of my clothing and left behind an extremely fresh scent without the use of additional scent boosters. With its scent and efficacy without additional products, I would highly recommend Tide.
