A very trusted staple in my house. I have used it for years and it always cleans all the laundry very well. I have a child with eczema and this is the only detergent I've ever tried that he didn't break out from. I like the original because it has a distinct smell thats clean but not perfumey or overwhelming. I trust it and would recommend to anyone.

There were other brands and scents of detergents that I thought might be better than Tide but I found out that Tide is the absolute best. Growing up my mohter would use nothing but Tide but I thought I knew better. It turns out mother does know best.

Tide is the only thing that I've found that actually gets them clean and makes them smell fresh. I'll never use anything else!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Detergent smelled great, I used it for a hot water load first, then followed up by a cold water load, the clothes came out clean, smelling amazing. I had never used Tide prior to this, and I was really impressed with how well it did in cold water. It’s a very strong detergent and works great for my husbands work clothes.

I will say that I like some of the other Tide options better like the Tide with Oxi and Tide with Febreeze to give a little extra cleaning and clean smell. However, Tide Original still does the job well to thoroughly clean my clothes and keep whites white as well as colors colorful!

Can you really change the scent and still call it "original"? The scent is different, the color is different, and the liquid is thinner. If the scent changed in 2019 it finally caught up here in NJ. I do not like the smell as my clothes are washing or the smell it leaves on my clothes and towels. I'm not sure I'll be able to suffer through the rest of the bottle. Boooo!! to Tide

The distinctive scent leaves my laundry smelling clean and fresh. Tough stains are no match for Tide. If you apply it directly to the stain before throwing it in the washer, most of the times if not all, the stains will vanish. You don't even need to scrub it!!! The colors stay vibrant and the whites bright and "whiter" even after washing many times. The value of this product is incomparable, a bottle of Tide lasts me way longer than other comparable brands. I like that no matter how much time passes by I can trust Tide will continue to do its job.

Leaves clothes smelling clean without a strong fragrance and remove any unwanted scents. My toddlers stains come out easily without much pre wash. I recommend!

My baby loves they way that tide smells. She snuggles up in her blanket and goes right to sleep if we dont use tide it takes her hours to go to sleep.
