My mother never used a name brand detergent and as a child I remember thinking how good other peoples clothes smelled and how could I smell that good. I began using Tide when I moved out of my moms house because of the smell alone. I never knew I could love a detergent so much. :) But now that I am older I use Tide products not only for the smell but because I now have three boys of my own and I want them to feel good about their clothes. Tide takes out stains, keeps their clothes looking brand new ( and for boys that is a hard task ) and of course keeps them smelling fresh and clean all day. Value brands do not offer the scent and clean feeling that you get from using tide products. The bottle itself is easy to hold and easy to pour.
