[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the smell of Tide original laundry soap. It's great at getting even the toughest stains out the first time! My son is in school for auto mechanic and the stains he comes home with are very hard to get clean. I used Tide to wash his greasy jeans and tee shirts and they came out clean with just 1 wash no pre treating required. I will definitely be using Tide for my laundry from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like using this Tide liquid laundry detergent on my son's clothing. My son plays baseball and his clothes are always dirty and smelly. This detergent is more concentrated and end up using less. It really gets the dirt out and leaves everything clean and smelling fresh. It is also He technology recommended for use with my washer. This detergent definitely get the job done leaving my clothes cleaner and the colors vibrant.

What happened to Tide? The new formula which was developed about two years ago is literally one of the worst things I have ever smelled in my life. It’s a breathtakingly bad blast of persistent fragrance that lingers in clothes even after you’ve washed them a dozen times, for months after you’ve put them in a drawer, and gets all over everything they touch, leaving a heinous smell residue. I don’t even know how a chemical so potent and enduring can exist. Whatever new formulation they’re using should be criminalized. I can smell Tide wafting through my neighborhood, and wafting from people coated in Tide-washed clothing literally 25 feet away from me. It’s everywhere and it’s awful. Whatever focus group okayed this was crazy. Read all of the other reviews. Tide took a mild scent they used for 30 years and replaced it with something so shockingly intense, disgusting, and long-lasting it literally makes people sick. You have to wonder what types of chemicals they’re using in order to get the smell to be so intense and so enduring. Very scary stuff, folks.

It has a nice fresh scent that left my clothes smelling great. I used it as a pre stain also which I must say worked great as certain stains came out of my garments.

First, it doesn't wash out of clothes effectively, leaving behind residue that feels heavy and unpleasant. Despite its claims, it fails to clean clothes thoroughly, leaving stains and odors untouched.The formula reacted to my skin causing breakouts all over my body. Overall, my experience with Tide has been disappointing, and I cannot recommend it.

It leaves a scent on the clothes when they are done washing which is great and it's not over powering. I would definitely recommend this!
