Bad product Does not get very loud Voices dull Subwoofer makes popping sound Buy the 5.1, 100x better

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchase in mid December, sound is better than expected, excellent bass,excellent mid tones, could use some tweeters installed in the bar to get a more realistic sound when music is played through the system,,but overall its a really nice system.

A totally and frustrating experience! Cannot get the subwoofer to connect. Tried all the steps on the support feature of the website and I still get “subwoofer not found” message from the soundbar. Way too complicated for me! Also, the User Manual and Quick Start Manual are the same. Why have separate buttons to download?

I brought this 3 weeks ago, and was I ever surprised! My old 500 watt sound system quit working, so all of our TV's (4) are Vizio. So why not have a Vizio Sound Bar to match the TV. I'm totally satisfied with not only the sound bar but all 4 of my Vizio TVs! You can trust Vizio!!

I bought this 2 weeks ago and it has been the worst! First, the power absolutely sucks. I had to turn it up to 98 just to get a normal listening level. The dialogue enhancement has a noise gate, this means that when the program audio gets a little low, the sound just totally drops out. Makes you feel like you missed something or like something was censored. Then there is the sub woofer, that sounds like a tank rolling through the room. Even at its lowest, it just rumbles. I had Vizio Support on line for several hours (another waste of time) and they had no idea of what a noise gate is nor could they do anything that I hadn't tried yet to get the volume up.

I had an older Vizio soundbar that did not have the option for the HDMI ARC which my new Vizio TV can use. I have been using optical for about a year, but I decided to upgrade to a new soundbar that used ARC. I purchased this soundbar because the price was reasonable and I only need a 2.1 system. I was able to hear the newcaster and dialog in my OTA TV shows so much better. I did not turn on the 'Dialogue Enhancer" in the TV as the soundbar was so crisp. Then I streamed 'The Avengers: Age of Ultron' (because I have it in UDX-4K) and the sound was stunning. So I went and bought two more of this model for my other two TVs. Obviously, I am quite pleased with the product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this when our google soundbar went out hoping it would be easier to link to our Vizio TV. It definitely was, sound quality so much better than the previous one. My only complaint is that the instructions to connect to our VA were not clear and was very confusing, had to get online and ask in 3 different forums before we finally got it figured out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not an audiophile, but to me the sound from this system is excellent; miles better than the tv speaker alone. I no longer require subtitles to be on all the time. I had a little trouble setting it up but that was due to my 77 year old tech ignorance and my somewhat older tv that lacks an hdmi output.. Most people will have no problem. I'm very happy with this soundbar.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This would be the second Vizio Compact sound-bar/ sub that I purchased. Oh, not because the first one failed. I bought another one for a friend as a Christmas present. The sound is great considering its size. However, I was disappointed that full range speakers were used, and not separate mini woofers and tweeters. In addition, it would have been nice to incorporate a center speaker for dialog clarity. I questioned the Standby mode feature. It was set, but does not go into standby mode. It would've been nice if the manual covered this more thoroughly. It does not tell you how long it takes before the system were enter standby mode. Subwoofer: Should you play material with low output , the subwoofer will cut out, which can be annoying. For example TV stations. The differences between the major network, and its sub-stations. Primarily, I use this with my computer. It fits perfectly underneath my 30” flat panel.

This was the perfect setup for my office/game room. I use this system to watch TV, play games, and do work in my small home office.
