[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I used it as a marinade on pork chops , it was amazing an I think it made my chops more tender. The smell was so intense an enticing. When the chops came out they were delicious an beautiful. It was definitely something I’d use again.

The product is described as “sweet” but for my family and I it was a little sour/tangy, I don’t if other found it taste the same way or the product’s taste was ruined through temperature change during shipping. Just a little sugar to cover up the sourness helps. It’s good.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had Japanese BBQ sauce once before and knew this would be good but i didn’t expect it to be the best Japanese bbq sauce i’d ever have !! This stuff is absolutely delicious!! I used it in my cauliflower chicken stir fry and OH MY!! It’s just the right thickness in the sauce & the flavor is amazing.

Personally I like this sauce and think it can be used as a dipping sauce, a marinade for some beef or tofu, just a sauce to put over rice and veggies, and so many other uses. My one complaint is the bottle top. It needs to be knurled because twisting it off was near impossible.

I like really strong flavors. This was a little lighter for me but still very tasty. I would try their other flavors.

I was very excited to try it out and I wanted to love it, but it was disappointing! Don’t get me wrong, it was OK. I was just expecting it to be better. The texture was more of a marinade. This would probably be good to use as a marinade or to glaze with, but not as a dip or thicker sauce. The taste was very soy heavy with a tang of ginger… not very Asian authentic tasting (coming from an Asian). It was too salty and too artificially tangy. But it’s good to use in a pinch.
