Absolutely beautiful mattress and looked very well made. So nice looking hated to cover it with sheets. After one week we find it very very comfortable and are sleeping better on it than the old foam mattress. Seems much more comfortable and body shaping than the old mattress and sleeps cooler at night also. A very pleasant sleeping experience so far. Worth the money to get a superior mattress. Would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for quality. John L.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I guess we didn't realize just how shot the old mattress was until we spent a few nights on the new one. It is amazing. We only made one mistake: when the white glove service guys offered to take it upstairs we should have let them. This is one heavy mattress! We huffed and puffed it upstairs, got it in place and dropped onto the thing. My wife and I agree that we are too old to ever do that again. Advancing age of the occupants aside, the Lux Estate medium is a great night's sleep.

We removed the sheets from the mattress to see what type it was (Stearns and Foster). As soon as we returned from our trip, we ordered our new mattress from Stearns and Foster and are extremely happy with our purchase. It is super comfortable!

While the comfort is as expected, numerous clearly visible threads were left hanging during the manufacturing process. While this does not affect comfort, it does make us question whether there was less attention to detail for those parts of the mattress not visible. It also affects our image of S&F and gives the impression this mattress is not worthy of the phrase "Lux Estate." My advice to S&F would be, details matter.

I upgraded to the Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop in King and it has completely transformed how I sleep. The "firm pillowtop" feel is the perfect balance - supportive enough to keep my back properly aligned, but with that plush top layer that cradles you the moment you lie down. It's firm where it counts and soft where it matters. The King size gives my partner and me plenty of room to spread out, and I've noticed almost no motion transfer when one of us shifts or gets up during the night. The craftsmanship is exactly what you'd expect from Stearns & Foster - it feels substantial and beautifully made, with quality materials and clean tailoring around the edges. A few months in, there's been zero sagging or body impressions, and the edge support is excellent - no rolling off or sinking when you sit on the side. We also bought the adjustable bed to help with my husband's snoring and it is life-changing! We love the split king-mattresses and we are also able to adjust the bed to each of our preferences. I can now sleep in my own bed and get the best night's sleep, instead of having to sleep most of the night on the couch.
