[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Stearns and Foster sent me this free sample through the BzzAgent sampling program, and I truly want to thank both companies! We got the queen-size Stearns & Foster Lux Estate Soft Pillowtop mattress and we couldn't be happier. We were previously sleeping on a queen size sleeper sofa mattress, and if anyone knows anything about those mattresses, they are very thin and you can feel the bars from the sofa bed frame all night. My partner of 20 years is disabled, and he lays down most of the day, therefore, we just keep the sofa sleeper bed out all day every day and never fold it back into the sofa. When I was offered this free sample, I was more than delighted! We are BOTH sufferers of degenerative arthritis, and he has had multiple work injuries which eventually disabled him. Our previous mattress only made matters worse for both of us. He has insomnia and was up and down all night long with aches and pains. Now I am pleased to say that we are finally getting a good night's sleep! I haven't seen him sleep this good for so long! As for me, I am sleeping way better also, and for longer amounts of time than I previously was. I seriously do not want to get out of this bed! Our aches and pains are getting better by the day, not totally gone of course, but more tolerable. The cooling feature of this mattress is the BOMB as I am going through hot flashes! And we cannot even feel each other get out of bed anymore because of the motion sense feature, so less wakening. I cannot thank both companies enough, and I would HIGHLY recommend a Stearns and Foster mattress for a great night's sleep! We will never go with any other brand from here on out!

I carefully researched S&F and tried many different models. In the store I really loved the Lux Estate medium. The mattress I recieved had a sink hole in the middle. I quickly notified the store and they took prompt action to replace the faulty mattress. The new one I recieved also sinks much more than the store model that I fell in love with. It is better than the first one I recieved. However, I'm not up to another round of musical mattress, particularly since the second mattress is "signed" by the same person who signed the first sink hole mattress. I guess I am the chosen one that this person learns on. I'm very sure that I will be needing to replace this bed in a few short years, but when I do you can bet everything you own that it will NOT be a Sterns and Foster! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

I purchased in August 2023 from the now bankrupt sleep galleria so maybe that has something to do with quality control. Anyhow, I'm primarily a back and side sleeper with low back problems and thought the ultra firm would help me, as mattresses tend to sag and create pressure points. Unfortunately, the mattress is a bit way too firm. This particular ultra firm model is not listed on the site or so I haven't found and perhaps its been discontinued. I waited to long for a potential return. I do like the look of the mattress and it does seem to have some quality build to it, but for the money it's not quite worth it. It was either this or a beautyrest black and i opted for a stearns and foster considering their long term reputation for quality mattresses. Oh well, I'll probably keep it for an extra room later.

It feels like laying on a cloud that helps support my body and keep me cool at night. This is the only mattress I have found that actually helps to keep me cool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After getting the S&f queen size mattress, I was surpized at how well my husband and I slept. I have a bad back and it was the perfect with me getting a good night's sleep, the reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I feel that is a little smaller than our last queen but not only do I sleep very good on it, my back does not hurt when I wake up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been using this mattress for about 3 weeks so we are still getting used to the difference from our last mattress. It has been very comfortable and my lower back thanks me! I do feel the mattress sleeps warmer that our last mattress but it's not a deal breaker. I am haven't noticed any sag yet and I'm hoping it stays that way. All in all it's a nice upgrade!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this mattress and was trying to decided whether to go with the "soft" or "med firm". In the store where I was shopping, the only one with the pillow top was the "soft" and I neglected to ask if the med firm came with a pillow top. After sleeping on my new mattress for a couple of weeks, I think the med firm with a pillow top would have been the perfect mattress for me, but I am sleeping pretty well on this one, even though when turning over, I awaken a bit as I am sunk in a bit more and it makes turning an effort which occasionally awakens me. Not a fault of the mattress, it's just my experience.

First time sleeping on the new mattress. I thought it would be more firm than it is. The same mattress in the store seemed to be a bit more firm. I experienced a very restful sleep and woke up without the usual aches and pains that I had from my ten year old Sealy mattress. I like that it is a much thicker mattress than my previous mattress so I'm hoping it holds up much better and the side doesn't crush down from sitting on the side of the bed as my old mattress did. Only time will tell. The only thing that I don't like at this point is the cost of the mattress. The price was a deterrent until S&F offered a nice discount. I 'm hoping that the old saying, "you get what you pay for", holds true for my new mattress.

My son owned a Cassette Luxery Ultra Plush which was no longer offered so when I called Stearns & Foster they advised me to buy the Lux Estate Pillowtop Soft. The customer service representive told me to try and find a store that carried that mattress before finalizing my order and to try it out. I found the mattress and brought my son along to see if it was comparable to his mattress and we both agreed that it was. I paid for my order and was so excited to receive it. I placed the order in mid June and it was delivered on July 3'd. The first thing that I noticed was that the mattress had a Sealy tag attached to it and I even questioned the guys who delivered it but they were unable to answer my questions. I knew that I ordered it from Stearns & Foster and they take pride on making your mattress so they say. The next thing I did was to lay on the mattress and I knew immediately that it wasn't the same that I laid on in the store. I called customer service several times and they advised me to walk on the mattress to make it softer. The next time they told me that my mattress was firm because of the temperture in my house. In the end they told me to try a featherbed to break it in and when that didn't work I bought a three inch gel mattress topper. After poor customer service I'm stuck with a mattress that cost a lot and is poor quality. My message to anyone who is considering on buying this mattress is just don't waste your money! I had a problem and customer service hung up on me several times before getting someone to help me. Because of them and their advice I have a firm mattress that I'm highly dissatisified with. I saved up to buy a mattress like my son had because I have pemanent muscle spasms but I feel like I'm laying on a brick pile. I'm using the gel topper so I can at least tolerate it. It's by far the most expensive mistake that I have ever made!!

We bought the mattress for 8 month and its already saggy and we cannot sleep well on it everynight. We have tried to reach out to the customer service but the only thing they replied is the mattress was not saggy enough so they cant exchange it for us because of the policy. But its only been 8 month... This is so disappointing.
