We just purchased a King sized Stearns and Foster Estate mattress. It is very comfortable and very well made. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to buy a new mattress! We have had other products before and this is by far the best mattress that we have ever owned.

This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this mattress. The firmness is perfect and comfortable. It has a soft pillow top while not being too soft that you sink into it. It appears to be very well made. I have had to spot clean it and that was very easy to do. It is a very thick mattress so it is setting a bit higher than my old mattress but not so much so that I need a step stool. It matched up perfect with my old box spring.

I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The mattress is beautiful made. I really enjoyed the straps on the side of the mattress. Straps make it easier to lift and pull the mattress. This mattress sits higher than what I'm used to so it took some time getting adjusted in and out of bed. I will make say there were stitches or loss strings in the mattress that should have been cut before selling. Major plus my back feels great so far.

I purchased this mattress from Mattress Firm. I explained to the salesperson I had chronic back pain and he showed me the Stearns and Foster. Of course, the mattress in the showroom was very comfortable, but when I got the mattress home, and layed on it, I knew something was wrong. I could feel the coils just from sitting in the bed. My back pain increased dramaticly from sleeping on the mattress. But, I realized the mattress I laid on in the showroom, the top of the mattress was dark blue (which was the Lux). After I realized what I received & what I layed on in the store was different, I immediately called the salesperson. I was told since I got the mattress on a deal they wouldn't take it back. I even went as far to as to speak with the manager...I was told he was the manager. I asked him if he could speak to his manager and explain what happened. I called back and was told that there was nothing they could do because I got the mattress on a deal. WOW...now I'm back again looking for a mattress that does not give me pain. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I hope someone from Stearns and Foster can make this right.

We have absolutely nothing but good things to say about this mattress. There was no adjustment period for us. We did go from a Stearns and foster queen to a Stearns and foster king. The comfort we find with these mattresses are superior to anything we have had before. The king gave us the extra room for us and the queen which is over ten years old has been transferred to the extra bedroom for guests and has held up quite nicely! Feeling like this mattress was made specifically for us!

Bought a sterns and foster king estate at mattress firm ..within 3 months mattress was badly sagging..very dissapointed with this purchase..sterns and foster has gone way down in quality..owned one 20 yrs ago and it was fabulous..10 year warranty is a joke..they will not stand by it.

Worst mattress I have ever owned. If I could have given it a negative number I would have. At first it was great. After six months it was sagging in the middle. I felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. I was so disappointed because I had such high expectations.
