They just arrived and when I opened the package I immediately noticed that there are only 5 boxes this year where as last year there were 6 and there are less chocolates in each box. So not only did they decrease the amount of chocolate by 30% (36 total ounces down to 25 total oz) they increased the price by 30% (last year’s price was $19.91 and this year it is $29.94).  The chocolate doesn’t seem as flavorful either. More waxy and less chocolatey. Won’t be buying again. Not worth it.

Shrinkflation AND Inflation

After learning on a tour how Hawaii grows their own chocolate and macadamias. I purchased them from the Walmart in Honolulu and took them back home to TN. Everyone I graced with a box thought they were absolutely delicious and they were.
