This Estate mattress has a 12" wide strip across where there is a giant indent, it's especially bad smack in the center of the bed. I couldn't figure out why my back was hurting. I would wake up in the morning completely bent over and not be able to straighten out for a couple of hours. I finally figured out that it's the mattress, It has huge indents where there is no support! After taking all the sheets off and pushing on the different areas of the mattress, I noticed his stripe across the entire mattress which is almost like it's been folded there and the springs have separated. Basically, what happens is your body parked in that area will completely sink in and become deformed to the rest of your body. So that was what was happening to me. I had the worst back pain after buying this mattress for about 2 years. I just figured out The source of my back pain and it's the bed. It's so unfortunate: this was supposed to be a gift to myself and it's been a lemon. I literally sleep better on my couch. And wake up without pain! I

Bought a sterns and foster king estate at mattress firm ..within 3 months mattress was badly sagging..very dissapointed with this purchase..sterns and foster has gone way down in quality..owned one 20 yrs ago and it was fabulous..10 year warranty is a joke..they will not stand by it.

I am amazed at how much I fell in love with this mattress! I actually just purchased a new mattress 3 months ago but decided to temporarily switch them so that I could sample this one out for my review. After just the first night of sleeping on it, I knew that I wasn't ever going to switch the mattresses back again! This Estate Firm Pillowtop is my permanent bed now! I have ankylosing spondylitis, degenerative disc disease and other spine issues that have been causing me a great deal of pain and discomfort. I woke up at least every hour and a half due to the pain, toss and turned all night. I know my original bed had no support so I bought a new mattress designed for side sleepers and to support lower back etc for my specific needs. It was such a relief and huge improvement that I didn't think it could get any better than that. But Stearns & Foster proved me wrong! I slept ALL night long without waking up once! I haven't slept this good in years! The mattress has excellent side support for sitting on the side of it to get dressed etc. My other mattress sank when you tried to sit on the edge. This one is built so sturdy and strong that I can tell it's made to last a very long time! The material of this bed absorbs movement so it has great motion isolation as well. I can't feel it whenever my dog jumps onto my bed or leaves throughout the night. It has the firmness my spine needs for support and alignment with just the right amount of pillowtop for plush comfort! This mattress was made to perfection and I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend this! Thanks again Stearns and Foster for the positively daily relief I now receive!

The Stearns & Foster Estate Soft Tight-Top Queen Mattress is a thick and luxurious mattress that will elevate any bedroom style. This mattress is tall, with a solid, well-made structure and soft material. The design touches on and around the mattress speak to the Stearns & Foster reputation as one of a high-quality and modern upgrade from any regular mattress on the market. I especially like the imbedded side handles, for easy moving and placement. While this mattress is considered to be the Soft model, it does have a firmness to it and could be plusher when lying down. However, I'm sure with time and usage this will be just a perfect comfort level. Definitely recommend Stearns & Foster mattresses for their attention to detail and comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am glad this is a soft mattress. I cannot fathom sleeping on anything BUT soft mattresses. Form or medium are just too rough on my back and not good for posture. Definitely different than the mattress in a box that I am used to getting. Set up was a bit tricky. Especially because I wasn't expecting it to stand so high off the floor! It's very thick. very thick. Makes it a bit more difficult to get in and out. But overall that's the biggest complaint I have. It's a nice mattress and I'm confident it will last me for years and years .

I must say that it came at the right time. I'm currently recovering from surgery and waited until it was safe enough for me to switch out my old mattress with this one. As soon as I laid down, I knew that would be the first night I got a decent amount of sleep since coming home after my procedure. With my old mattress, I was constantly trying to turn over due to the springs being extremely uncomfortable which wasn't a good idea for someone who was in pain. I love the Fleur de Lis design on the mattress since it's a symbol that represents my home state. I really like how my body "sinks" into the bed especially after a long day BUT I do wonder if it will hold up after some time has passed. This concern could simply be due to the mattresses that I'm use to so I will definitely pay attention to it. If I had to choose a different type from this company, I would go for the Lux Estate Medium because of the added materials which are perfect for people like me who could really use the cooling cover and Tempur-Indulge Memory Foam. For the price, I would've never been able to purchase it myself, but I would certainly recommend it to people who can afford it. It's a high profile mattress so getting out of bed is a breeze . I have no more back pain when waking up in the morning ,It's honestly changed how I sleep and how long I stay asleep . I would pick this mattress again and again . It has a quilted plush top its so nice it's a non flipping mattress you just need to rotate it every 6 mths or s. It is heavy but it does have handles on the side which helps a ton .

I received the mattress and it seems like it already has sinking. It was not this way in the store. I put something across the mattress and you see where it is sinking already! So tired of this happening! I haven't had this mattress but 4 months. You can make this situation better if you use this information. Needs replaced!!!!
