My son wears a size one in tennis shoes however the size one in these sandals were too short in length. It would be nice if they gave a measurement for the length of shoes. That would be really beneficial and cut down on returns having to be made. Reason for the two star rating, these sandals do not offer very good support. Most of these styled type sandals have a piece along the side of the foot connecting the ankle piece to the front strap even the girls pair of Eddie Bauer River Sandals has it but this pair lacks it which I feel could cause a child to twist an ankle especially when wet.

My son tried these shoes in his size and after wearing them for awhile, he complained that they hurt his feet. When he took them off, he had blisters.
