In our spare bedroom I had my older S&F Estate Mattress. I decided to test it and slept on this for 2 weeks to see if it would help. NO PAIN. As a result, I returned the new mattress and replaced with the Estate Firm Pillow Top. I'm about a month in and NO PAIN AT ALL. No hip pain, no lower back pain, I finally wake up without being sore. I will never purchase another brand. The quality just can't be matched.

Tried several other mattresses before buying the Stearns and Foster Estate Pillow Top Firm mattress. The delivery service was punctual, polite and removed my old mattress within twenty minutes. My old mattress was a Stearns and Foster mattress bought about twenty years ago. I tried several other mattresses before buying this one. Non other came close. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE STEARNS AND FOSTER ESTATE MATTRESS.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My wife and I have been looking forever for a decent mattress. Finally. We have the Estate Firm, and it fits the bill for us. It's obviously solidly built, with no sag on the edges and no movement when one person gets up or lies down. Somehow, the mattress is also comfortable for side sleepers (me) and stomach and back sleepers (my wife). We deliberately didn't get the pillow top, because we have any body indentations, and that's worked for us; no sag or indents anywhere. I keep saying to my wife, in shock, "Wow, finally, something that actually does what it says it will." We love the thing. Great sleep, no body pains. Our corgi likes it pretty well, too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was one of our top two choices after trying dozens of mattresses in multiple stores. Quality, construction, and materials are all excellent. Delivery speed and setup were A+. Unfortunately, within days, we found many problems that make it impossible to get a good, full night's sleep. 1) Poor Temperature Regulation: became too hot within minutes. 2) Lack of Support: Felt our bodies sinking slowly all through the night, due to the memory foam layers not providing consistent support. 3) Lack of Resilience: After just two weeks, found our bodies had left deep impressions that did not return to normal. 4) Lack of comfort: we have woken with pain in our backs, buttocks, hips, shoulders, and legs. 5) Irregular surface: the deep tufting creates an uncomfortably uneven sleep surface. All these problems persist even after several weeks. This is despite this being exact model that was our top choice in the showroom. The delivered mattress feels as if it contains considerably more memory foam than the showroom model, and all the negative characteristics of memory foam (heat retention, lack of support, feeling of being trapped in quicksand) have proven far worse than our worst fears. We have been forced to buy mattress toppers, mattress pads, and new pillows just to be able to sleep through the night -- none of which we expected from such an expense, high-quality, brand-name mattress. So unfortunately we do plan on returning our Estate Tight Tip Soft King mattress for a refund.

I normally sleep on my side, but even naps on my back or all night with congestion gave me a great night of rest.

Since the first night we have had this, our sleep has been better and some of the aches and pains that we had in the morning are now gone. There is truly nothing negative to say about this mattress.

This mattress is very comfortable. The problem I have is it is supposed to be to be 16”. I bought sheets for this. They did not fit properly. I have since discovered the bed is actually 14”. I feel cheated because it is not what it was suppose to be. I could understand if it was 1/4” off, but not 2”. Which makes me say don't trust Stearns and Foster!

We slept on the mattress at a vacation condo we rented and found it so comfortable that we ordered two one for our room and one for our guest room. We have a lot of family members who like to visit, and have received so many compliments on how well they slept at our house.

I have been sleeping well for 65 years on Stearns and Foster mattresses, and this year, 2026, was a time for an upgrade. The first mattress was purchased by my fiancé and me at Fair Mercantile in St. Louis, Missouri. We bought a canopy bed frame to accompany the mattress and box springs. We were stylin’, let me tell you! After a few years it was time to purchase beds for children and Stearns and Foster was our choice. In early 1990 we were ready to refresh our bedding.,we purchased, you guessed it, Stearns and Foster at Robb and Stuckey in Orlando, where we now lived. We have been always, so happy with firm and supportive bedding. Come to 2026, and I received the Consumer Report issue of mattress and bedding “picks”. I studied and shopped for almost two months for new bedding, and in the process came back to Stearns and Foster! There are many more choices in bedding today than years ago, to be sure, but the endgame for me was/is the names Stearns and Foster, plus the association with Tempurpedic. I ordered the Estate Pillow Top Firm Queen and the Ease frame. In two months now, I can fall asleep in five minutes and sleep well all night! No surprise there, as that’s always the way sleeping on a Stearns and Foster mattress has been, since 1960! The Ease frame was a new choice, and the fact that I have an acid reflux issue made the decision a wise one. I am faring well with the adjustable head of bed.
