[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of the highest quality mattresses I have ever felt. It is so thick and soft and feels like I am at the best spa in the world when laying on it. It is very heavy so two people are needed for moving! I found that although it is soft, I don't totally sink in which is good!! I have already recommended to friends and family.

I received the mattress and it seems like it already has sinking. It was not this way in the store. I put something across the mattress and you see where it is sinking already! So tired of this happening! I haven't had this mattress but 4 months. You can make this situation better if you use this information. Needs replaced!!!!

I recently bought a Sterns & Foster Estate Mattress from a major retailer. The first week we had the Mattress we were very happy since it replaced a 23 year old Mattress. At the end of week two we began to see a small sag in the middle of the mattress and it generally got worse over the next ten days. Now mind you myself and my wife weigh a combined 300 pounds so we know it was not a weight issue. Beginning of the fourth week we went back to the retailer with several pictures of the sagging which was now visible by the naked eye. After some haggling with them whether we were using our discomfort reselect we selected a different brand mattress. By our own measurements this mattress developed a 2 1/4 sag within one month of purchasing it from the retailer. I am very surprised this happen with a great American Company which has been around for 150 years. I have numerous photos which I wish I could post to show this obvious manufacturing defect.

It has a smooth plush top that has amazing comfort. After sleeping on it a few nights I noticed I no longer had back and body aches. It felt like it was really sleeping on a cloud of pillows. I tried this for 30 days and I do not like all the memory foam in this mattress, it's too hot to sleep, I sweat all night long and I am used to a traditional innerspring mattress, and I do not like that there is no bounce back or is really slow to bounce back, the memory foam is very prominent. This mattress was not soft enough for me (my body would fall asleep if I was sleeping on my side and my shoulder would hurt) but may have been if it weren't for all the memory foam. I do have issues with back/neck pain. This was a good quality mattress and I hope Stearns and Foster changes or adds a model that doesn't have so much memory foam in a soft TT or soft pillowtop that is affordable. I would hope to try this in the future because it seems like a well-made mattress and I never experienced what they were like before Tempur-Pedic acquired them, maybe I would have liked them then but couldn't afford it at the time. Hope this helps someone, and I hope Tempur-Pedic can make a mattress without so much memory foam!

This Estate mattress has a 12" wide strip across where there is a giant indent, it's especially bad smack in the center of the bed. I couldn't figure out why my back was hurting. I would wake up in the morning completely bent over and not be able to straighten out for a couple of hours. I finally figured out that it's the mattress, It has huge indents where there is no support! After taking all the sheets off and pushing on the different areas of the mattress, I noticed his stripe across the entire mattress which is almost like it's been folded there and the springs have separated. Basically, what happens is your body parked in that area will completely sink in and become deformed to the rest of your body. So that was what was happening to me. I had the worst back pain after buying this mattress for about 2 years. I just figured out The source of my back pain and it's the bed. It's so unfortunate: this was supposed to be a gift to myself and it's been a lemon. I literally sleep better on my couch. And wake up without pain! I

I started off with a Bed Tech copper lux soft mattress. We had a cold winter and my bedroom became cold. The Bed Tech mattress turned hard as a brick. I was miserable. I then tried a medium firmness Tempur-Pedic supreme overlay for the Bed Tech mattress. I I was miserable because it was too firm. I then tried an Adapt Tempur-Pedic overlay for the mattress. That was not comfortable either. I then went with a Saatva overlay for the mattress. That did not work and was not soft enough. Saatva then told me to order a feather overlay for the Saatva overlay mattress. I was sent two and both of them were contaminated with horrible odors that I could not use. I was so uncomfortable that I decided to get rid of everything and start all over again. I went with a full Estate soft pillow top. I love it. At first it was somewhat firmer than I liked but I have had it now for about 40 days and it is getting very soft and comfortable. I am now comfortable and am looking forward to going to bed rather than dreading it. It was expensive and a big financial burden but it is worth a good nights sleep.

I have terrible low back pain and on my old mattress I'd wake up in excruciating pain and have trouble getting up out of bed. With the Stearns and Foster mattress I am sleeping better and waking up in very little pain. I definitely recommend this for someone with back pain.

I have only had this mattress for a few weeks, still adjusting to the difference from my last mattress. As of today, I am very happy with my new mattress. My last mattress was a Simmons Fawndale Medium. I ordered the mattress March of 2019 and it only lasted 3 years before it started to sag.

About 9-12 months into sleeping on this mattress we noticed back pain from the sagging. We have tried rotating the mattress which helped the first time we did it but now that doesn't even help. It's been 18 months and we already need a new mattress but this one was so expensive we can't purchase another one for a while.
