I should have done better research. I don't think this is the best bed for my back. My degenerative disc disease has only gotten worse. I guess I just had a lot going on at the time and wasn't thinking as clearly as I should have when I purchased it.

I have chronic pain. My new bed has helped greatly. I can more easily get comfortable when trying to fall asleep. Before I got this bed, morning was especially painful because my muscles were always stiff and it took some time to work out the tightness. Now this is less of an issue. I am very happy with my purchase.

We were in need of a new mattress (ours was 18 years old) and in very bad condition. After doing some research, we decided on a Firm, pillow top. We've had it for 2 months, and already the mattress is sagging. We decided to go with a Sterns and Foster because of the reviews and it seemed like the Top of the Line product. $3,000 + and we are sorely disappointed. I'm happy there was a 120 day guarantee with it, we will go back to the store and select a different mattress. It took 10 years for our old mattress to start failing, this took 2 months. It started out really good, we slept better, felt supported, now we feel like we're on a hill toward the center. We will not choose the mattress without the pillow top for fear it will do the same thing. We will chooses a different brand, Sadly.

This mattress retains heat like no other mattress I have ever owned. My husband and I both wake up frequently tossing and turning trying to find a cool spot on the bed. It is almost tolerable in winter, but I am dreading warmer weather. I would have given it 1 star but my husband does like the support for his back. I can't wait to get a new mattress and we've had this one less than two years. It is already getting dips and lumps too. Also it is very heavy which makes it difficult to tuck the sheets under.

We had a Stearns and foster queen size mattress and upgraded to king size. There was not any sleep adjustment noticed at all. Extremely comfortable and the size is a bonus. Our first night sleep was what we expected from Stearns and foster. Very happy with our purchase!

This mattress is tall, with a solid, well-made structure and soft material. The design touches on and around the mattress speak to the Stearns & Foster reputation as one of a high-quality and modern upgrade from any regular mattress on the market. I especially like the imbedded side handles, for easy moving and placement. While this mattress is considered to be the Soft model, it does have a firmness to it and could be plusher when lying down. However, I'm sure with time and usage this will be just a perfect comfort level. Definitely recommend Stearns & Foster mattresses for their attention to detail and comfort.

This is a pretty fantastic mattress, it offers lots of support, you can tell it's very high quality. The mattress I was sleeping on before was only two years old and never offered this type of support, this mattress literally hugs your body and doesn't put extra pressure on your joints. Me and my Beau, both have been sleeping on this mattress and have been sleeping much better and more soundly, my Beau has said his back and legs hurt less since we started using this mattress, it's also much quicker to get comfortable which has resulted in less tossing and turning. I would absolutely buy this product and recommend it to anyone looking for a new mattress, that is not only comfortable but provides support, it's worth every penny. The mattress itself is very luxurious looking, it has a nice blue and a beautiful pattern on the pillow top, you can see how high quality the stitching is and the soft handles make it very easy to move, it is a bit heavy-duty but I think that adds to the fact it's made to last. Our mattress is 7 years old. It has a growing hump in the middle of it. It kept getting better. Someone came out and they will not honor the warranty. Stay away from this dead beat company. It is a lot of money to pay for a mattress and then a warranty is not honored.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this mattress. The firmness is perfect and comfortable. It has a soft pillow top while not being too soft that you sink into it. It appears to be very well made. I have had to spot clean it and that was very easy to do. It is a very thick mattress so it is setting a bit higher than my old mattress but not so much so that I need a step stool. It matched up perfect with my old box spring.
