Bland flavor

I think I might have used this salsa wrong. I was hoping for a great salsa for dipping. But I found this to be way too sweet and not a good compliment to either of the chips that I bought. I need more zest. I added some siracha and that helped using it just as a dip. But I decided to try it in recipes, I have since used it as a marinade for chicken and it was delightful. So take my review as a not so good as a dip but wonderful compliment as a flavoring for another meal. I still have about a 1/4 jar, so I will try pork chops next :)

Most people that try this expecting "salsa" are going to be disappointed unless they really like mango. I have tried this various ways, I do not like it heated. This is good for a bland type chip, nothing real salty or corn. This goes well with a cold salad of cherry tomatoes and peppers without using calorie heavy dressing. This is going to be a 1 star or 4 star product for people- an acquired taste. Yea, the 1 star reviews are spot on for the garage taste and throwing it away, IF, you do not like ripe mangos. My wife hates mango. Thought it would be more spicy then it was, bought it for my daughter and myself. Probably not buying it again, though that does not mean it is a bad product, just NOT for me.
