I’m very disappointed with this PS5. After about 1 hour of playing EA SPORTS FC, the console starts lagging and freezing badly. The gameplay becomes very slow, buttons delay, and sometimes the game almost stops responding. I’ve checked my internet connection and storage, and everything is fine. This issue happens consistently every time I play for around an hour, which makes the console almost unusable for gaming. I expected much better performance from a PS5. This is frustrating and not acceptable for a next-gen console. I would like a solution, repair, or replacement.

I upgraded to the PS5 PRO model from the regular PS5 because my regular PS5(1st model from launch date) was crashing during VR games like Gran Turismo and Hitman. If you are getting into the Playstation virtual reality games using the VR2 headset, I highly recommend upgrading to the PS5 PRO to avoid the games freezing/crashing. Plus, The PS5 pro has upgraded graphics for many VR games and regular games. Lastly, it is best to keep your playstation in the horizontal position because there is a liquid metal coolant on top of the processor that can slowly move off of the processor over time if the playstation is positioned vertically. This is more of an issue with the base/normal PS5, and less of an issue with the PS5 PRO. For the PRO, Sony redesigned the plate that holds the liquid metal coolant to have ridges in order to better hold the liquid metal in place, but there may still be potential for the liquid metal to slowly move off of the processor over time if you keep the Playstation vertical. Many debate this as not being much of an issue, but many people who repair the PS5 often see how the liquid metal has shifted off of one side of the processor. When the liquid metal has moved off of the processor, it is no longer effectively cooling the processor. This can lead to overheating and causing the system to not function normally, and crash games.

I wanted a ps5 for the longest, I didn’t have intentions on getting a pro at the time but once I realized it was on sale I HAD to have it. I love the fact Walmart has rollback sales for those of us who couldn’t shop during Black Friday and cyber Monday.

Short of spending thousands on a amazing gaming PC, the PS5 pro gives you the most bang for your buck! Well wort the $$$!

The graphics are night and day compared to the original PS5 I was actually shocked by how much better they were.

Yeah, it is a little bit pricey, but if you expect a similar PC you're looking at a significantly higher amount. I love the dual sense controller. it's very immersive when playing games as far as the vibrations and everything else.

The tariff increase of $50 for a console manufactured and sitting on the shelf since before any such action is unacceptable but unavoidable in today’s economy run by corporations
