[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this Lux Estate Pillow Top Medium mattress to replace a five-year-old Mail order foam mattress. We are very happy we did. Absolutely beautiful mattress and looked very well made. So nice looking hated to cover it with sheets. After one week we find it very very comfortable and are sleeping better on it than the old foam mattress. Seems much more comfortable and body shaping than the old mattress and sleeps cooler at night also. A very pleasant sleeping experience so far. Worth the money to get a superior mattress. Would recommend this mattress to anyone looking for quality. John L.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the finish quality is not what we expected. We have been had S&F mattresses for many, many years; this one is our third. While the comfort is as expected, numerous clearly visible threads were left hanging during the manufacturing process. While this does not affect comfort, it does make us question whether there was less attention to detail for those parts of the mattress not visible. It also affects our image of S&F and gives the impression this mattress is not worthy of the phrase "Lux Estate." My advice to S&F would be, details matter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My experience was unexpected. I ordered on July 4. A month later I received notice that my mattress would be delivered the next day. I was thrilled. The next day I received a call telling me that my mattress was ruined by a lift truck. So I expected that Sterns and Foster would jump on it and rush a new replacement. A month later I hadn't heard from them, not even and I'm sorry. Then I started calling and calling. They have a computerized operator that that can't answer anything, when you ask for a real person it takes three requests to get someone. Then you go on hold for twenty minutes and then they transfer you, guess what more than twenty minutes. After six weeks I get connected to their escalations team which is very good at not telling you what is going on and when to expect my purchase which was fully paid for a month before. On Sept 28 my mattress finally came without one word from the factory nor even an " I'm Sorry". Well even though I love my new mattress, I guess I'm the only one who will say , "I'm Sorry" that I didn't cancel six weeks ago. Sincerly, Phil

My nagging morning backache went away with my new mattress and I have truly rested so much better immediately after I got my Stearns and Foster.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Lux Estate mattress is the most comfortable mattress. It supports and cradles my body giving my partner and I a restful night's sleep. The quality of materials used is first rate, even better than my previous mattress which was also a S & F.

I'm extremely happy with this mattress. After a long day, I feel like I'm melting into the bed. It stays fairly cool, but we had to try different mattress covers that stayed cool as well. The medium firmness was perfect for us as it provides great support for my back, but doesn't provide pressure points. Before this mattress, I would wake up with pain in my shoulder. I haven't had shoulder pain in the morning with this mattress.

Sterns & Foster Lux Estate Firm Pillowtop King mattress review: What a wonderful mattress. It is the most comfortable mattress that I've ever owned. Stable when getting in and out of bed, such that you will not disturb your other half!!!! I have bone spurs in my left shoulder and left hip socket, this mattress does not irritate the joints when I sleep on my lefthand side now. I'm very happy with this purchase. Sleeping on my back is the best it's ever been! I have owned pricey top of the line mattresses before with a pillowtop... but nothing compares to the hybrid construction of this modern day mattress. My husband and I are so pleased with our split king mattress set, I'm a side sleeper and he's a back sleeper and the medium firm mattress is perfect along with the adjustable base. We had previously owned a Queen Stearns and Foster which served us great. We were able to move my husband out of a medical bed earlier as part of his recovery because of this bed. We couldn't be happier, it was well worth the purchase!

Purchased mattress about 2 1/2 years ago. It is now beginning to sag about an inch causing back pain while sleeping, but not enough for a warranty claim. For this price point, not worth the money. Will not purchase this brand again. They do not back the product.
