The new smell of the 72h version of this is completely awful. I don't even know how you can call it citrus because it smells so overpoweringly like coconut and perfume. I've been using this product for over a decade and it had a nice scent that wasn't too much. This new version smells like you've bathed in a coconut air freshener and it just lingers - you can smell it so strong by the end of the day even if you're sitting and keeping your arms down. I don't at all understand why Dove would change the product scent so drastically and keep the same name. It's honestly such a garbage smell and I'm going to have to switch brands because of this. Considering how many people these days (and offices) are scent sensitive, I can't at all understand why Dove would make this change. I guess if you shove enough coconut air freshener smell in a product it'll overpower you so much it will hopefully last 72h? Please bring back the original 48h one.

At our campsite there was nothing but cold water showers ... when the weather is in the 50s at night cold water showers are out of the question. Thankfully I always back deodorant with me and this time took the Dove Extra Fresh. I would put it on in the morning when I woke and after all the days activities I noticed I didn't smell half bad. It held out to hiking, fishing and all the other outdoor activities. I know the bottle says 48hrs but with what I was putting it through I would us it once in morning and once at night (since as I said cold water showers where not happening) and it did a really good job. I even put some on before I got home and my wife couldn't tell it had been a few days of not showers.

My husband loves this product! He doesn't itch or flake when using Dove. He uses it everyday and it smells amazing. The product is great the way it is and its real easy to use. You just swipe and go and he stays dry all day. He is very satisfied with the product

I stayed dry all day and have not noted any yellow staining to my undershirts which I found with some other brands. I have used several other Dove Men's products and have found that they all seem to work well and do not have a heavy "floral" scent. I would recommend this product to others.

I love the fragrance it had and how it felt dry as it went on. The smell lasted all day, making me feel fresh through my work shift. Definitely will switch.

I'm 25 years old and I've been using antiperspirants long enough to know when one works and when a product is sub-par. I struggled with sweating for a long time and tried close to a dozen brands before I came upon Dove Men+Care, Extra Fresh antiperspirant. I started using the product when it was still new to the market and I've been a fan ever since. Not only is the scent great, but the antiperspirant kept me dry and fresh all day. Since adopting it as my sole deodorant product, I've also started using other Dove products, like the shampoo and bar soap (both Fresh Scent). My wife loves the smell and I love the results that I consistently get. It does exactly what it claims and I wouldn't change to something else, ever. Very happy customer.

Dove, please change your formula back to the old 48 hour non citrus Extra Fresh. The new 72 hour citrus one smells extremely pungent amd sickening, my wife could smell it from 3 rooms away and forced me to wipe it off my armpits with a wet paper towel. I had to throw out the double pack and clear the store out of the remaining 48 hour ones. I'm hoping your team reintroduces the old scent by the time I am through with my supply! I've been using Extra Fresh since 2010, but if the old formula isn't brought back I'll have to move on.

HELP - I've got two Dove Men+Care Extra Fresh antiperspirant/deodorant and they are both stuck in the plastic container. Turning the base of the container does nothing. It appears either the advancing that pushes the product out of the tube is broken. How do I use a FULL container when I can't get the product out? Is this just me or do you have a manufacturing defect? The product works fine otherwise - does what it's supposed to do! But, I'm really tempted to just throw them away and find another antip/deodnt to use.

I have been using the 48 hour for about a month and works works EXTREMELY well. After 24 hours, it is still working before I take my text shower. I have not experienced any wetness during that period of time. I do not experience any residue as one reviewer mentioned. This is a one fine product.
