However, I have used Secret deodorant products in the past with good results, so I decided to give this a try. I got the Secret Antiperspirant Deodorant Spray in the Delicate Rose scent. I often find floral overpowering, but this did not bother me. However, I did have a bit of a learning curve/confusion with the application. I never know just how much to spray or how far to hold the can away from my body, so sometimes it feels like maybe I'm applying wrong or using too much/too little. I settled on it being close enough to feel the spray as opposed to nothing. I went about my day and stayed fairly dry and didn't notice any odor. Overall, I will use this until it runs out but will likely keep purchasing sticks in the future to feel more confident and less wasteful. I am not into personal care products that are overly fragranced. I found this to effectively cover odor from underarm sweat, with good longevity, and it didn’t irritate my skin, which is sensitive. The formula is one that dries down well so it doesn't leave armpits sticky or requiring it to dry before getting dressed. I did find it a bit difficult to know if I applied enough or covered the correct area well but overall it was a good experience. I’m a rose adorer and have a million rose-based perfumes, but this scent was just a bit too much for me. I personally find this to be a very, very mature type of scent. It’s like an extremely powdery rose that for me was just overwhelming. It’s difficult to escape the scent and it was way too overpowering for me and stuck to my clothes. I was also quite aware of the feel of the spray. The packaging is fairly cute, but overall, this product was unfortunately just not for me.
