This foundation is very difficult to put together, and the pieces are not cut or designed to fit together normally. Because of this, it took us over 2 hours to try to make it work, with the holes not lined up, and the pieces overlapping unevenly, and even then, the slats were bowed over the main structure, i.e. sticking up and bent. Each corner of the foundation ended up looking like a hodgepodge of ill-fitting wood, just sort of slapped together with no effort to make sure the lengths of the wood would match up. Even the instructional video states that we should be fine with the wood splitting as it is put together. The quality overall is surprisingly poor considering how other furniture that one might put together - bookshelves, patio furniture, desks, and so on, - which are more complicated but do fit together. This bed foundation looks like whoever designed it had no expertise in wood, design, or carpentry.

So very pleased that we went with GhostBed. Besides the excellent customer service, we were instantly enjoying a full nights sleep. One of us is a side sleeper, the other a back sleeper & we both are extremely pleased. I only wished that we discovered GhostBed sooner. I will also mention that my worry of over-heating is unfounded! Perfect temperature along with being perfectly supported. YAY at long last :)

Been on our new king size GhostBed for about 6 weeks and are totally happy. We are a 60ish couple, her 150 lbs and I 175. She is sleeping MUCH better and she was the one having a more difficult time on the old innerspring mattress. I was not having sleeping issues before but am also sleeping better. We live in the northeast and enjoy a cooler house temperature, 64 degrees. Found that the bed was cool to crawl into. After putting the electric blanket on and heating the bed up for about a half an hour before bedtime, it is a pleasure to crawl into. Both of us getting better nights sleep thanks to the GhostBed.

This is a nice foundation that comes prebuilt and you just have to follow instructions and build the rest. It’s not hard and it comes out as a very sturdy well made box spring/ foundation. The only complaint I have is some of the boards weren’t the greatest and holes were drilled off a bit so you have to have a good power screwdriver to finish assembling this. Lucky I did.

I don't love my foundation. It's not 76" X 80", the sides are warped, and it makes the bed uncomfortable. Because it feels like the middle rail is right in my back. Now I have found out that I can't return it. A fact that is only buried in the FAQ. So no! I do not love my Foundation.

We purchased this bed after trying several foam mattresses in the stores. With a little hesitancy and help from the reviews we bought the ghost mattress. It came 3 days later & we even slept on it that night! We absolutely love it! Firm in the beginning but softens a bit. Great mattress for the money.

Very sturdy and will last forever I am sure but what a pain to put together and one piece was slightly bent. Good thing for a strong husband to bend it back. That thing will be staying upstairs for years to come because I can’t imagine breaking it all back down to move (comes in a million pieces).

This is the first bed we have bought online without trying it out. At first I was skeptical, but with the money back guarantee it was worth a shot. At first it was a bit more firm than I thought it would be and it took my body a few days to adjust, but this bed has been amazing. I fall asleep faster and stay asleep all night. I wake up feeling rested and without lower back pain. I give this bed a 5 star thumbs up!

After 3 weeks I think I can finally say it: Our Ghostbed is awesome! I've been sleeping better than I ever have in my entire life! My wife doesn't wake me up with her tossing and turning. I don't wake her up with my tossing and turning. Mostly because neither of us is tossing or turning much at all any more! And it sleeps surprisingly cool. I live in Central Texas where nights have been humid and in the upper 70s. Haven't had a problem with it at all! Plus their customer service is supreme. Best shopping experience I've had.

I was skeptical, but decided that the 100 day trial was worth giving it a chance. I read a lot of reviews and my concern was that i would find it too firm. I'm on the lighter side, and several reviewers had complained of the firmness being in the 130-140 weight range. Not so for me. It was super comfy right from the first night. I'd say it's a medium firmness, which i find perfect for me. I've had it about 4 months now and am definitely glad i choose this mattress. Still enjoying a very comfortable nights sleep. I got two pillows with the mattress. They are very soft and squishy. I find them to be too soft for sleeping since I'm a side sleeper and i stayed with using my other combination gel/foam pillow that is a bit more dense. I also purchased the ko foundation. It was easy to assemble, abd the fabric stretched over it nicely, but i found its construction to be a bit shoddy. We had to get the saw out to trim board ends that hung out too far and some boards didn't line up properly. If i buy another mattress, I'll skip buying the foundation and just build my own. Its not worth what you pay for it. Overall, mattress gets 5 stars. Foundation gets 1.
