Our mattress is 7 years old. It has a growing hump in the middle of it. It kept getting better. Someone came out and they will not honor the warranty. Stay away from this dead beat company. It is a lot of money to pay for a mattress and then a warranty is not honored.

After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. Delivery and setup was flawless and took no time at all. I've never had a pillow top mattress before and so happy I got to try this one. Over that last couple of years I've suffered from back pain. Only after 2 nights of sleeping on this mattress my back pain has mostly disappeared. For a firm mattress, it isn't stiff and uncomfortable like a lot of other firm mattresses that I've had in the past. It is a little taller than any mattress I've ever had but not a problem for me. Overall I think if you are a larger person and want a mattress that will give you support but also comfort for your hips and shoulders, you'll want to try this estate firm pillow top mattress.

My wife and I were in need of a good mattress due to problems with our backs, we purchased our mattress at Ashley Furniture were we tried many out and settled on the Sterns & Foster Estate Firm Pillow Top. Our first night was getting use to the firmness and after that it was sleeping like a baby, we love our new Sterns and Foster mattress, we spent more than we wanted to but it was well worth it. We owned an S&F king size luxury firm pillow top for 9 years and when my back and knees gave out recently, we decided to purchase the estate king size firm tight top mattress. After just 2 nights of comfortable, excellent support, we feel this is a reliable, well- built mattress and recommend it to anyone with arthritis and/or back problems due to advancing age.

The last mattress I purchased was rated high in consumer magazines and by customer reviews and initially, it was, but it failed shortly afterward. While I do not enjoy firm the medium should remain medium - this one did not. In researching this mattress the Plush (medium firmness) sounded good and reports seemed to back it up. After going to a few stores I found this mattress and a salesman with years of experience. "The Plush", he said was the mattress for me. Why not try out the Plush and then any number of comparable medium-firmness mattresses? I did go back and forth, it was like trying to find the shoe for me. After a long while of testing out mattresses, I found one I believe comfort was beyond expectations!
