[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, I have to comment on the design. The mattress itself is just so beautiful I almost didn't want to cover it with a sheet! It's this beautiful blue and has a fun design on it. The material they used is also very soft. Now on to the mattress itself. The mattress was so comfortable! I wasn't sure if it was going to be too firm for me, but the medium was absolutely perfect. I felt like Goldilocks when she found the "just right" bed I slept like a baby (with 3 kids that's always a plus) and woke up without any weird kinks in my neck or any discomfort. I would absolutely recommend this bed!

This mattress is outrageous. Prior to purchasing, layed on the other top brands. This mattress, from the time you lay on it feels so luxurious. I know preferences differ, but for me, there's nothing like the experience. It helps to melt away the anxiety, especially with the base Temper Ergo Smart). At this point, there's nothing I don't love about it.

After searching for years for a comfortable bed for the 2 of us this bed is hands down the best bed we have ever had we have had temperpedic bed and other name brand beds that don't even come close to the comfort level that this bed is I would highly recommend Sterns and foster beds to anybody I am finally excited to go to bed and wake up not hurting like I did in other beds So if you would like the best bed skip all the rest and go with the best I guarantee you will love it

I wasn't looking for a new mattress; I was okay with the one I had. And then I got this Stearns & Foster. Wow, what a difference! I've had three back and one hip surgery and I was used to never being completely comfortable sleeping. This mattress has the perfect amount of firmness for my back. This past month I've gotten the best sleep I've had in six years. I love it and will never go back to another mattress.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this mattress as part of a promotion. This mattress is very nice. The cover is soft to the touch and feels very luxurious. The bed is very thick, so you need deep pocket sheets for it. Laying down the first time it felt like a dream. Very supportive and comfortable. My daughter sat down on the bed while I was laying down and it didn't bother me. Normally someone sitting down or moving bothers me. I really didn't feel her sit down very much. Getting out of bed the edge feels like a good quality mattress. I am on the heavier side and it didn't feel like I was caving in the whole edge of the mattress. The edges seem to be very well made and make it easier to get out of bed. I am pleased the mattress has handles on the sides for ease of moving it, if needed. The bed didn't smell weird or have a strong chemical smell like other new beds I have purchased. So far so good and I am now considering buying another for my master bedroom in a King size.

Still under warranty and will not help us replace our mattress that has a two and a half inch sagging on each side where we sleep worst mattress and worst experience I have ever had in my life trying to get help to get a replacement mattress because it's still under warranty. Will never recommend having a sterns and Foster again they are the worst!!!! Worst experience that I've ever had in my life trying to get help to replace the mattress that is under warranty!

On 09/10/22 I purchased a Sterns & Foster "handcrafted" Lux Estate Hybrid Pollock King size mattress. I purchased the expensive mattress because it's promoted as premium brand with a "sleep worry-free for a decade" 10-year warranty. I also liked the 90-day sleep trial as I have a back injury and needed to make sure my back could tolerate the new mattress. Turns out I loved it. I loved it so much I convinced my parents to buy one of their own. Fast forward to 04/10/23. (Just a little over 6 months later.) The work that the "master craftsmen" did to stitch the mattress cover was coming apart. I filed a warranty claim and was emailed a response that tells me physical abuse and damage including cuts and tears to fabric aren't covered. First off, the mattress wasn't abused, and it wasn't a cut or a tear - the stitching was coming apart at the seam in multiple areas. When I called customer service at (800)697-3249 I was told there's nothing that could be done and was refused transfer to a manager because "the decision had already been made". This is not the answer I expect from a representative of a high-end product. Honestly that's the worst answer a customer service representative can tell someone who is having problems with any product. I purchased this mattress based on the reputation of Sterns & Foster. I told the rep that I was considering finding every single website I can that advertises this mattress to leave negative reviews because the Sterns & Foster website specifically sells this product with the marketing that it is "stitched to perfection". He told me if that's what I feel like I should do - then I should do it. I let him know that I would contact the corporate office first and give Sealy another chance to resolve this concern with my mattress. I'm really surprised that Sealy would treat customers in this manner. I took a chance buying an expensive mattress because I believed that premium products are better made and I also believed that I wouldn't have any issues, now that I do it's quite disappointing. Worse than disappointing, the marketing is deceiving when the website says that the 10-year limited warranty covers "all parts of the mattress". Fast forward and I feel like I am becoming The Princess and the Pea. After writing a letter & complaining directly to the corporate office my issue was sent to the warranty escalations team who authorized replacing the mattress. On May 18, 2023 a new king size Sterns & Foster mattress was delivered to my home and the other taken away. From the first night I could tell that the new mattress did not compare to the old one in any way. I wanted to give it a little time to see if my partner also felt the same way. I checked the website and realized that the Lux Hybrid doesn't even come in the Pollack or in cushion firm anymore - just soft, medium, and firm. I never received any sort of receipt or invoice from Sterns & Foster telling me what my replacement is, but the sleep quality is nowhere near what I was used to on the previous mattress. I absolutely LOVED the first mattress and If I had ANY idea that I would be sent a completely different replacement I would have sewed the stitching that was coming apart myself rather than send it back! After reviewing the website lately, I find the new Lux Hybrid mattresses don't have the row of microcoils that the first did when I ordered it last November and I believe this is the reason it feels so different to me - because it is made fundamentally different now. I am really surprised that the warranty escalations team would not warn me of the changes to the models before offering to replace the other. I feel like I am stuck between a rock and a hard place as the delivery personnel told me that the mattress they took away would be shredded. What a waste! Other than the stitching issue it was a perfectly good mattress and one that I would much rather have than the new one that Sealy sent. And it's not just that the replacement mattress is firmer; I can feel every time my partner moves, and its hotter - I have to kick the covers off at night when I am overheating. The other one simply had a stitching issue. Now Sealy has told me there's nothing else they will do as they claim the replacement mattress sent was identical to the first. What a cheap rip-off. I even purchased a new queen-sized Sterns & Foster mattress for my guest bedroom when Sealy stepped up and said they would replace the first. I wish I would've waited, I now believe Sealy has no intention of treating their customers right.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a huge upgrade from our previous one. It's very soft and cushiony while still being supportive. We have it on a platform bed with slats, so we did not need a foundation and I'm glad because the mattress is very tall in itself. You'll need sheets with deep pockets in order to fit! There's a reason why Stearns & Foster is the best.

I knew this would be the best mattress in the store, but was I willing to fork over what it cost? Took me 4 years to be completely fed up with current mattress and take the jump. I should have done it sooner- first night on the mattress was unexpected comfort. Rested in the morning, very few turn overs in the night. No back pain and no stiffness. I have the firm, but it is more like a medium and it's perfect. It does have a chemical smell that I expect to go away soon- I don't care- it's a great mattress.

It is ultra plus and is 16 inches thick which requires deep pocket sheets which is no big deal at all. When someone else is in the bed, you can barely feel their movements. My sleep has been so amazing and my aches and pains are no longer a problem. Thinking of replacing all of our mattresses with this brand!
