Quality was my main priority, so I looked into Stearns and Foster. I found the Lux Hybrid variety intriguing. While I was very interested in the advantages of a memory foam mattress, I was concerned about heat retention. I'm what is known as a "hot sleeper". The Lux Hybrid does contain memory foam, but it's designed with coils, which allow the mattress to stay cool. Best of both worlds, right? Absolutely! I've been sleeping on my new Lux Hybrid for a little over a week, and I'm enjoying cool, cozy comfort all night long! I awaken refreshed, ready to hit the gym and start my day. If you're thinking about memory foam, but are concerned about being hot, please look into this mattress. It really will keep you comfy and cool!

The store warned me that it might be really tight and smell like plastic when it arrived. I did not experience either. I just to moan when I got out of bed in the morning, I never realized how bad my old mattress was. I have not had any ackey joints since I received the mattress. My only regret is I didn't purchase it years ago. Thanks for building such great quality products

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bed is comfortable but takes getting used to as you tend to sink and mold to it. It makes getting out of bed more difficult for my husband. I am concerned that the comfort will decline as the bed is broken in. I was surprised at how short the 5 inch frame is. I find it very comfortable and cozy but as I said, not sure if the top layer is going to break down. I spent way too much money to have that happen.

With both of us having various ongoing back and joint pains, decided to go for it. It's been one week and felt the difference after one day - sleeping through the night, not waking up with pain / pressure points and overall less body pain in the morning. This is after switching from a mid-level price point mattress. In this situation, you do get what you are paying extra for - the value is there. Now I just need it to maintain form / not dip after a few months like so many mattresses across the industry did that were constructed in 2020/2021

If you're like me, you had enough of our 10+ year old mattress and wanted something that will last. This is the mattress. I am not a back sleeper but laying on this mattress you instantly feel comfortable and supported. Paired with the Power Base 4.0, I definitely feel like I have the ultimate in comfort.

I have severe spine problems due to injuries from years ago and have struggled to get consistent, restful sleep. I debated about going with the PT soft or firm, and decided to try the soft and it is perfect, especially with the builtin Temperpedic memory foam adding perfect comfort and an amazing nights sleep... After 3 back surgeries and continuing back problems for many years, I had accepted waking every morning with back pain. And then I slept on a Stearns and Foster luxe mattress while visiting a family member . For the first time, I awoke with NO back pain. I couldn't believe it! In the end, after talking directly with a company representative, I ordered the higher reserve model, and I'm glad I did. This bed has been exceptional since it arrived. I tried other well known mattresses for years, that required special sheets, and had bulky platforms. None of them even come close to this magnificent bed. The platform is compact, and any deep pocket sheet fits perfectly. Iis expensive, but worth every penny. Given how much of our lives are spent sleeping, it is an investment in your health that is well worth making. I awake refreshed and ready for the day. No more aches or pains in the morning. I had a S&F mattress years ago, tried something else in between. I will never stray from S&F again.
