My husband & I got this to replace our old mattress that was many years old & had become quite uncomfortable. I figured anything would be better than what we had but simply had no idea how amazing a mattress could be! From the moment I lay my head down at night 'til it's time to get up the next morning I sleep like a baby! My husband, who happens to be a bit of a critic, is rather impressed with it himself; he's sleeping more soundly than I've ever noted.

Just some background about me - I'm a computer programmer in my 30s with a fairly active lifestyle outside of work. I teach high school colorguard (part of the marching band) and I am a competitive ballroom dancer. I have no shortage of injuries that occur from those two activities, and our old mattress consistently aggravated and strained a shoulder injury I sustained about a year ago. I had to give up sleeping on my right side entirely. Sleeping on my back caused a lot of low back pain too since it wasn't being properly supported. Enough became enough, and we went mattress shopping. We brought home the Sealy Hybrid Chill Firm mattress with an adjustable base. Even though this mattress is supposed to have cooling technology built into it and we purchased the matching mattress pad to go with it, the first few nights were more than a little warm. I woke up at least the first 3 nights in full out sweats. We removed a blanket to adjust to the change. We are just outside of the first 30 days with it now, and it seems to have gotten better, but we also live in Wisconsin, and the temperature outdoors has dropped a solid 30 degrees now too. We added back the blanket we initially removed now. I'm not ready to say I'm waking up pain-free yet, but it's less awful than our previous mattress. I have been able to sleep on my right side at times, and we're still figuring out what's most comfortable with the adjustable base. It will probably be a lot of trial and error for the next few months, but it will be worth it!

My wife and I were sleeping on a 2001 budget mattress as a hand me down from my parents after we got married, just to help us cut costs for a while. That bed made me wake up with back and shoulder pains every night, truly terrible that it drove me to the store asap. We purchased this mattress after trying it out in store and it's been a blessing. I honestly forget how comfortable the bed is because it's not an immediate reaction like "OOOH THIS IS SO SOFT", it just functions perfectly. The bed is soft and you sink a little in all the right spots, but more importantly, you wake up realizing you havent changed positions in 4-6 hrs. That's crazy to me, i always toss and turned my entire life....now I wake up in the same position and realize I've gotten a lot more deep sleep. Also my mood and eagerness to get out of bed every morning is instant, compared to the groggy mess of "ugh i guess its time" like before. Definitely reccommend!!

First night with the mattress I Slept amazing, and woke up feeling great. Didn't wake up once throughout the night, usually I'm tossing and turning and up every hour. I suffer from chronic back pain and usually wake up aching, but with this mattress I woke up feeling great. Don't remember when was the last time that happened. It was worth every penny!

I'm a side-sleeper who thought I preferred a firm bed, and each store I went to affirmed my feelings. One store even double-down, offering me their (typically) most expensive mattress at a steep discount (as it was a floor model). The mattress was my first mattress purchase--extra firm. Before this, I'd slept on hand-me-down family mattresses and dorm room foam ones. This was an investment. Later, my partner (a back sleeper) joined me in bed. He complained relentlessly about how terrible my bed was and how it made him wake up throughout the night and wake up sore. I acquiesced and purchased a topper to make things a bit softer. This helped both of us sleep way better, but I insisted my bed was great. Fast forward a couple more years to this Sealy medium mattress. I was skeptical. I told everyone that it would simply be too soft and that I'd give it to the highest bidder after I reviewed, and then we slept on it... My fiancé missed his alarm, slept right through it. I woke up later than usual, rejuvenated. Our first words that morning were, "How did you sleep." "Amazing." A skeptic, I said, "Well, mattresses are meant to be tested for weeks, not a night." We continued testing, and there were honestly some restless nights, though I think the mattress gets a bit of a pass here. Now, I sleep better than ever, and so does our dog. He used to lay atop the covers and now lays under them, like a human, and we've purchased a little pillow just for him. The mattress delivery left much to be desired, but the mattress was in great condition. It smelled very chemically at firm, and sometimes I get a sniff of it. All in all, this mattress proved to me how ridiculous mattress stores are. As a side-sleeper, that extra firm mattress gave me fits and, no doubt, hurt my fiance's back. This mattress is not "luxury" like a tempurpedic or other adjustable mattress: it's just a good mattress. I sleep better now than I have in years. I struggled to fall asleep and laid anxiously awake, thinking the problem was my mind when, albeit ridiculously sounding, I just needed a better mattress. This one was the perfect choice.

I've only slept on it one night,,,,,,but it was a glorious night! I have arthritis in my shoulders and hip. I woke up without pain! thank you. It was the most expensive mattress we've ever purchased and honestly could have never afforded. Middle class people rarely are able to have such comfort. But thank goodness for tax refunds. No-one I know could ever put that much money into a mattress.

The hybrid material is perfect for me as a side sleeper and I haven't had any back or hip pain since. The mattress is soft but has conforms to your body for nice support. I love the memory foam top and it's the perfect height on my queen platform bed.

We went from a standard coil mattress to the hybrid. It's a night and day difference. We went with the firm because of my husband lower back pain and because I'm a stomach sleeper. It's been the best rest we've had in years! And our Great Dane loves it too :)

A good night sleep is what we all want, now I have it and more. The sheer comfort of this mattress is bliss delivered. No need to pile pillows up to sit up and read or watch TV, and being able to elevate my feet and legs when resting is something my doctor has recommended for years. I wish I could have had this years ago.

I have struggled with lower back pain for years. After 3 nights of sleeping on this mattress I sleep for longer periods of time and wake up with significantly less back pain. Our mattress is the Chill mattress so it is nice to crawl into a nice cool bed that stays cool throughout the night! It is a little more firm than what we expected but it is expected to take a bit of time for the mattress to "break in" so to speak. Overall, it is a great mattress and I would recommend that people purchase it for their next bed!
