We have had our new Sealy hybid mattress for two night now and we are adjusting to sleeping on a mattress that supports us. We leaving behind a worn pillow top, and can already tell that once the adjustment period is over we will love this new mattress for many years to come. We like the hybrid option, and we like that the mattress keeps us cool at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had not bought a new mattress in quite a few years. This one is like an old school spring mattress with memory foam on top. The whole thing was 13" where our old one was only 8" It's really quite comfortable. It says it has medium support but I would say it might run slightly more to the soft side. The top has a very thick soft layer of foam but underneath there is support. It's supposed to have some cooling properties and while it's not hot, I do not detect any specific cooling effect. Maybe because we have an extra sheet under the bedding to help protect the mattress. One thing I do like is that when you sit on it it feels like a spring mattress and not just foam. I do not like all foam mattresses so I really like the supportive feel of what is under the foam layer. I read that this bed has extra support in the center so two people do not roll together. I would say it does a good job of that. It does not tend to sink down in the middle which is a good thing. We put this on the old box spring from our old mattress. We put the box spring right on the floor and this mattress has enough height that it looks like it's on a frame when you make up the bed. The cover of the mattress is a dark color which to me seems a little odd for bedding. I sort of wish it was lighter so I did not have to put something white over it to make it so the dark does not show through. I guess though that does make it a little bit resistant to the look of any stains. I do wonder over time how long this mattress will last. In the past we have always had a regular spring mattress and a separate memory foam topper. The thing about memory foam is that it breaks down faster than springs, so I could see this in a few years showing it's age on the topper. Since it's all one piece it's not like you can just replace the topper. The cover feels to me a little loose on the top already and I wonder if over time it will look even more out of shape. I realize I've brought up a lot of points of concern here but we really do love the mattress and the comfort level. I just have some concerns about how long this is going to last without feeling like the top portion has lost it's shape. Overall it's great right now, I'm just a little concerned about the top portion failing early and as a result having to replace the entire thing earlier than just a spring mattress. Still as it is right now it's very comfy and gives enough support to get a good nights sleep and wake up feeling rested and comfortable. It's way better than what we were sleeping on. Returned the first mattress in less than 6 months, the second mattress as to which i have now is of the same poor quality & craftsmanship as the first poorly sewn together junk mattress that I have now. The base is just as bad. Where the mattress sits is bowing or warping or something. Only my wife and I sleep on our mattress. We do not have ANY food or drinks while resting on the mattress. We have taken exceptional care of both Sealy mattresses also the customer service is almost nonexistent. I refuse to accept the current one that Big Lots pretty much forced me into taking in place of the first one. I DO NOT ACCEPT THIS EXCHANGE BECAUSE THE CURRENT SEALY EDGEFIELD QUEEN MATTRESS IS COMING APART LESS THAN A YEAR.

So far, so good. I have been sleeping on this mattress for about a week and don't wake up with the hip, back and neck pain I had from my previous Spring Air pillow top coil mattress. I fall asleep right away and stay asleep all night. Hopefully that will continue and the real test will be during the hot summer months in AZ whether or not the mattress stays cool.

It took a while to get use. The sides seem firm but I tend to sink in the middle when my spouse gets too close to the middle. I never had a foam mattress before so I assume that is why it tends to sink. Did not expect that from the show room mattress. I would recommend with some reservations.

My husband and I both have back problems. This mattress was so comfortable that we were actually able to get a total night's sleep. The only problem is the cost of the sheets for a 15 1/2" deep mattress. That's minor compared to the comfort it gives.

This would would have been a great bed for an older couple. A younger couple the dag on thing won't stay together and is to narrow if you get my drift. It is a great sleeping bed though. Wish the salesman would have warned us. It did help with both of my wife's pregnancy's with back and heart burn problems.

I've purchased many mattresses over the years and have always been skeptical about the "demo" mattress and the one that's delivered, and that my "in the store" decision was going to be the same when I slept on it for a while... but guess what? My expectations were exceeded on both counts with my new Kelburn 2!!! It's stinkin awesome!!! No more pain points on my hips or shoulders and my back is like when I was a teenager again!! I could go on and on about this mattress but I gotta go back to bed!!!! Lol! Great job Sealy!!! Love this thing to pieces!! ‍♂️

This will be the 4th bed purchased in 7 years. We could never find a bed that gave support for the lower back. We heard about Sealy hybrid so we went to check it out besides what did we have to lose. Once we laid on the bed we knew this is the one. We have had the bed now for a week as it was back ordered however we feel rested and finally our backs are doing much better!!! So far so good!!! I had a sleep Number bed for 10 years and I was having some pain while sleeping. This new sealy hybrid mattress provides the support I need to be pain free while also being adjustable to my various sleeping needs. I love the coolness of the mattress.
