Nice and bright with good battery life. Little limited on the zoom & spot, but sufficient for a recreational light.

Living in hurricane state, we lose power often. We depend on these flashlights for the kids especially. Having their own means a lot to the little ones. This is second time I purchased. Others still work great after several years. They are also perfect to donate to the care packages for others hit by Helene or Milton.

My wife and I walk at night. These lights are perfect for that because we can use the dim setting and conserve battery life and high to check out wildlife, including the occasional snake. They do get a little hot on the high setting.

These lights are bright, but they do have one drawback, it is that they don't use 18650 lithium ion batteries. When I bought them, I was hoping that they would use that type of battery because I have a bunch of them. I think rechargeable batteries are the way to go.

So far so good. Much brighter than previous similar but different brand compact LED flashlights. The one thing I noticed though is that they get real hot to the touch when kept on for an extended period of time. I mean hot, not just warm even if not burning hot. This could lead to faster battery drainage and worst, LED light early failure.

Advertised as 1,000 lumens. FYI, takes 4 AAA batteries. I compared it to a 3 battery member's mark 600 lumens light, with beam focused similarly, and think the 600 light is just as bright. Also, you cannot focus the beam as concentrated as the 600 light.I'm very disappointed in this flash.

Unfortunately these are being returned. The 3 power settings on the light are a great idea except that the light turns off between each and you have to cycle through all of them to get back to the setting you want. Click once - bright, click again - off, click again - medium, click again - off, click again - low, click again - off, click again - flashing strobe, click again - off, click again - flashing SOS, click again - off Very frustrating to have to go through 10 clicks just to get back to the setting you want.

Very disappointed! The flashlights are not bright at all. Maybe I expected too much for the cost. I had to return one of the flashlights because it didn’t work. I caught a lot of crap from the Sam’s Club representative.

The light is bright but cannot focus the light as sharply as I had hoped. Also you have to go through the entire selection on and off to get back to the one you want.

There were three in a package. The batteries that were included did not work. I replaced them with my own batteries but one of the flashlights does not work at all. I did not bother to return the package because I had opened it.
