This SHOULD be a great value.... when i received it, some of the containers had cracks and broken pieces, but decided it wasnt to the point of taking the time/effort for a return. However i regret that decision as almost every time Ive used them, a lid or a side of a container has broken... Ive used the rubbermaid containers like this before without any issues, so not sure why this variety pack is so bad

I thought the twist top would be perfect, but I was quite disappointed. I'd gotten them to put things like my yogurt and fruit mixes in for lunch. They leaked all over my lunch bag. euwwww I still use them - they are the perfect size - but I also have to put them into a plastic bag, with a fold over top. If you can use them knowing they won't be turned over, go for it.

My daughter in law is always needing storage items for leftovers, and for my son to pack his lunch in. He is notorious for leaving them in his truck or at work to mold. She refuses to use them after having mold in them. These are to replace all that he has lost or destroyed. They should last most of 2016, there were numerous sizes and quantities.

Had a set of these I Purchased at a competitor. Really great, thick walled, nice flexible lid. These are not the same. Very thin plastic, and cheap lids. I would happily pay more for a better product. These are just one step up from disposable.

How many times do you have a small portion left over that is good for a snack or a light lunch for a family member and you need something to put it in to save it. It was so well packaged group that I bought three for my family to use. The price was the best price ever.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TakeAlongs Food Storage container set has five 5.2 cup deep square containers and five 2.9 cup deep square containers with lids for both sets. I love the 4 point quick snap and seal. No struggling to put in place or remove and very secure. I use the 2.9 cup size to pack my lunches in to take to work. They are the perfect size. The square shape makes for easy storage and the different sizes give you ample room for all your food storage needs. Great quality products!! These are dishwasher safe ( top rack) and microwave safe just be sure to unsnap/unseal the lid for venting. Just a heads up on these, they do stain. I personally use a non-cooking spray on them and let food cool completely before transferring into them. Keeps them stain free and I never reheat in them if I want to keep them stain free. For those who don't mind the minor discoloration from the varies foods, feel free to store, freeze and reheat in one container for effortless use and convenience!! P.S. Common sense comes into play when freezing foods. Containers become rigid when used in the freezer and like anything else, it will crack/breakage when dropped on any hard surface.

I bought two of these 2 years ago and last year I bought 4 more. I still have them all and they are all in great shape but I will say I have never put them in the microwave as I didn't know I could. I do put them in the dishwasher though..I put the lid on the bottom but I always put the container on the top. I like these because I can stack them in my refrigerator. I use them for potato salad, baked beans, I store my flour in them and they're excellent for cookies too..I have absolutely zero complaints and in fact I plan on buying more..great product..

I love the sandwich containers. I send them with the kids and my husband for their lunches. Perfect size. And not so expensive that if they get left behind - I don't freak out. I wish they didn't stain as easy as they do but for the cost, they are great!

The TakeAlongs® Twist & Seal's are one of my fav products. Good for storage of the perfect portion of soup on the cold winters day. Also perfect size to pack in the kids lunch boxes every day. Which I do. Great for taking things to the beach also in the summer and won't get what's inside soggy.. Love them so much, I have 4 sets and need more.....

I saw these on the shelf and thought I would try them out, as I had never thought of being able to take liquid things in my lunch. I've since used these (the smaller size) to take juicy tomato slices, pickles, cottage cheese, diced onions, salad dressing, and lots of other liquids in my lunch, and have not seen a molecule of leakage. Now I can put all that drippy stuff on my sandwich when I am ready to eat it, instead of it getting the bread all soggy. And I can add the cottage cheese and dressing to the salad I buy at work. I am very impressed. The lids screw on with gratifying precision and the perception of a tight, secure seal. Next I'll try the larger size!
