My wife and I used these a total of 2 times,they were never in a dishwasher or microwave,yet they split down the side. We thought we would have a reliable easy no-spill container to use for a long time before needing something else. We are sadly mistaken. Too bad we bought 2 packs of three,what a waste of money.

I was sick of using plastic ziploc bags for my sandwiches at work every day and I was sick of adding my plastic debris into the environment. Rubbermaid's TagAlongs Sandwich carrier was just the ticket. I can easily put my sandwich into the reusable container and feel as though I am making a difference by not polluting the environment. I also notice that now my sandwich doesn't look like it was mushed by all the other items I am carrying to work each day. Thank you Rubbermaid!

This is my favorite container. I purchased one a couple of years ago and absolutely loved it. It has recently been misplaced so I bought new ones that came in a pack of 3. The new ones are noticeably lighter and thinner than my first one. I take soups, spaghetti, chili etc. to work in my backpack and my first one NEVER leaked. I used one of the new ones today for soup...yep, no leak. I can only speak for myself, I love these containers. I do wish there were a heavier, thicker gauge option though. Thanks Rubbermaid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love taking my own lunches to work as a way to eat healthier. These Rubbermaid food storage containers are a must have in any kitchen. Not only can I see whats inside I never worry about anything spilling out.

I just purchased a second set, my first is about 5 years old and the pieces that are remaining are still functional and clean. If you freeze food in them let them thaw for enough time to move to a pan for heating on the stove or a micro wave safe container to heat in the micro. They do fine in my dishwasher.

My husband has nerve damage in his hands and fingers from diabetes. He cannot open a regular lid on a storage container. We love these because it is very easy for him to open these. And being Rubbermaid if he drops them, no mess, cause the lid stays tight and no leaks.

I have snack cups that I want my kids to open but then sometimes if you are in a place where you don't want the kids to get food all over, like the doctors office or a friends house who doesn't allow food in the livingroom ,these are great. Also is a good way to take fruit cups, the juice won't leak out because of the seal. They take alot of abuse but still in great shape.

I had purchased brand-new Take Alongs containers to take some home-made food to a friend as a gift. When I opened the package of 4 containers, two of the lids were already cracked. Of course, now, I have no time to purchase new containers or to return. I am so disappointed that I will surely not purchase this product again.

Was not very pleased after using this product and sticking it on the top shelf of the dishwasher to have to come out with a melted ring around it. Several of these have come out like this. I would NEVER recommend this product to any one. I use Rubbermaid everything else and I love it. Just this one product I do not enjoy.

I purchased these to freeze cookies. The cookies were totally cool (4 hours cooled) and put in the container. When I removed the container and set it out on the wooden chopping block to thaw, I noticed a crack in the container. I put masking tape on the crack b/c I wasn't using the containers for liquid. Now today, I took out a container that I had put in the freezer on 8/5/17 (different container) and I picked it up to move it, I noticed the lip of container had broken off and there was a vertical crack down the side of the container. I have read the responses that Rubbermaid has made stating they are not meant to be durable, but if the container shows that the container is freezer and microwave safe, then I expect it to be that way. If they are made to be one time use only, then I feel like they should be label "Disposable" and not have the markings for freezer, microwave & top rack dishwasher on them. Top rack dishwasher safe implies they can be used more than once. Right? hummmm...Disappointed.
