These containers do not work at all! i always bring my lunch along to school with me and i was really hoping that these containers would let me travel with liquids, such as canned peaches. Unfortunatly, I discovered a huge puddle of peach syrup in my lunchkit, which had dripped down my locker. it was not a very nice surprise, so i thought that i should tell you about it. Overall, i was not impressed.

I purchased these containers because they advertise exactly what I was looking for. A leak proof cereal container that I could bring to work. Unfortunately they leak all over every time. I have had to replace my lunch bags multiple times and buy new containers.

I have a set of blue "sandich-sized" squares and I love them. Mine have never broken and I've used them to freeze and to microwave as well as washed them in the dishwasher. I have a spare set tucked away because I never expected these to last and last. I have a brand I've used for years (L&L) and these are just a little deeper and much less expensive. I'm single, so it's handy to split up and freeze individual servings with these: casseroles, ice cream, bread/English muffins, frozen waffles, etc. I'd buy more of this size if I could get them in blue again. My experience in all regards has been positive thus far.

I purchased these for my children to take snacks & side dishes to school. The bottoms crack family easily, so now I am left with all tops & no bottoms. Called Customer Service and the bottoms are not available separately for purchase or replacement.

I like how they com in a variety of sizes,so I can easily find something to store my leftovers in.The lid has a good seal once in place and I don't have to worry about leaking.I even dropped it and it remained closed.That was a shock! I too have had trouble with cracking,but it's to be expected and at the price they sell...it's pretty affordable to replace.No product is ever 100% perfect and there will be flaws,but in my opinion this is one of the best choices out there.I'm definitely a fan and will continue to buy them!

As a student taking meals on the go is very important to me as long lectures make getting a bite from off campus difficult, not to mention the cost of doing so. I recently bought these TakeAlongs on the premise that they could be used to store liquids and were able to be used in the microwave. Well...have to say that neither claim is true! First and foremost the product leaked tomato sauce, secondly upon being placed in the microwave for no more than 1 minute the stability of the product was clearly altered so much so that upon taking it out of the microwave you could have crushed it without effort! I was able to save my food.. what was left after leaking by using a cup in the cafeteria but the container is shot! I chose Rubbermaid because it is a name growing up my parents said meant quality... apparently that no longer holds true!

I purchased the Twist and Seal product a couple of months ago. It has already cracked and Ziploc containers I bought over a year ago are still in use and still performing. In addition, the twist on feature makes it more difficult to use and it doesn't seal.

This quickly became one of my daily partners. I carry lunch to work and have used this to bring tuna salad; egg salad; jello; pudding; left over chili; sloppy joes; & homemade soup & pasta. Some days I bring more than one. I store individual servings at the start of the week and just drop these in my lunch bag. Co-workers have picked up on this for cereal, oatmeal, fruit salad, as well. Thanks for a really terrific product.

I purchased these for the leak-proof seal. The contents spilled all over the girls lunch brand new lunch bags...I would not recommend purchasing for liquids. I wish I still had the package so I could return them - I have enough little containers for carrying "dry" goods.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You can never go wrong with Rubbermaid, the food storage containers are great, they stack nice for easier storage. They wash up real nice, and they don't stain with a red sauce or gravies. I haven't frozen anything yet, but I'm sure it will work just fine, as the lids have a good seal to them. And best of all dishwasher safe.
