The 1.2 cup containers are the perfect size for various picnics and leftovers and, most importantly, the kids' lunches. We pack snacks, fruit, cut veggies and cereal into these. The problem is that they crack, sometimes after just a couple of uses. I wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher, and they come out badly cracked. Other brands don't have a comparable product, so I keep buying these, but now I'm on round 4, and it's just ridiculous.

The lids did not fit the container! I bought them to freeze Christmas cookies but would up putting in my recycle bin! I have bought your products in this size previously because they fit my freezer. The lids were always hard to completely seal but the lids fit on.

Picked a few of these up right before Christmas and they came in so handy during the holidays for carrying food to parties. I really liked that they were sturdy and sealed well. Plus at such a low price I didn't have to worry about having to keep up with them like I do my more expensive food storage containers.

Rubbermaid is known for their quality products, and I was expecting this same quality when buying the Twist and Seal containers. Boy was I disappointed. Though lovely to look at (far more aesthetically pleasing than its happy competitor), when it came to function it was a dud. The first time it happened, I dismissed it as a fluke and threw that one container away, but it kept happening...batch after batch of fruit cocktail, spinach juice, and other wet foods were leaking all over the rest of my lunch. Finally, I had enough and now only use the set as regular leftover storage in my refridgerator, ever mindful of the fact that I cannot tip the containers over.

The deep squares are a good size overall--not too big and not too small--making them versatile for my needs, and the plastic of the bowl itself is very sturdy. The VERY FIRST TIME I removed the lid from one of the bowls, however, it snapped off at the corner with the tab. It hadn't been in the freezer, dishwasher or otherwise exposed to unusual temperatures. I realize these are economically priced, but I expect better quality from a brand like Rubbermaid, regardless of the price I am paying.

I was so excited to see rubbermaid carried larger sizes in takealong containers. I love to bake and they are just the perfect size for my homemade rolls and chocolate chip cookies. The colors are great also. The colors are what drew me and there was a bonus small round container when I bought mine. I will be purchasing these for my 2 daughters and daughter- in-law for Christmas presents. I also saw some great new items online.

NOT microwavable. I used this to prop up some popcorn in the microwave and the entire bottom melted off.

bought this set for the big tub to put everything back in when not in use to hard we not fit also missing all 5 small conteners only lids came

took container out of freezer when i took off lid the container split down the side loosing the brussel sprouts that were in it

Lids do not stay on at all. waste of time and money. was gonna use for the holidays and glad I found out before I used them.
