I purchased a set of assorted tag alongs and liked them. Then, I realized that one of the bottoms had cracked. I thought this strange but ignored it. Yesterday, I took a small tag along out of the freezer and it, too, had cracked. Has anyone had this problem>

This product is perfect- Lids fit perfectly- I am so surprised to read some of these reviews. I send 25 meals every couple of weeks to my son who has left for university. He heats them up in microwave, washes them and returns them to me for an exchange. We have done this exchange four times and only two have had to be replaced so far.

This product is not designed for long term use. At least 50% of the containers that I bought have cracked along the ribbed sides. If I had known that they were so easily broken, I would never have bought them. On the plus side, they are a convenient size & shape for things like grapes or snacks.

I bought 5 2-packs of the TakeAlong twist and seals in Sept 2011. I have been using them in my kids' backpacks for their snacks since then. They always go on the top rack of the dishwasher and have never been microwaved or frozen. They also only each get used once per week. Only 2 of them are not cracked and 4 of the cracked ones are completely unusable. I bought them so I wouldn't have to use plastic baggies and throw them away every day, but these will not make it to the end of a single school year and will need to be thrown out. They were not cheap and I am very disappointed with the quality.

I bought these about 3 weeks ago and right away the tab on the lid snapped off when I went to try and open the container They had not been microwaved, put in the diswasher. Only hand washed and filled not impressed. I purchased a package of 10 and this has happened to 3 of the lids. Will not purchase again.

Very happy with my TakeAlongs. I take them along with me every time I dine out. I almost always have lunch or dinner leftovers, and instead of using a gross Styrofoam container, I use my TakeAlong. It seals nicely so I don't have to worry about spilling anything in my car or fridge, and it's reusable so it doesn't go in a landfill after one use. People use canvas bags for shopping. Why not use your own to-go container when dining out? :)

I was storing the rest of the ice cream cake from my daughter's graduation party in the freezer when the large Rubbermade TakeALong container fell out on the floor. We heard a loud crack! The bottom had cracked where it hit the floor. Then as I was using a metal spatula to take a chunk of cake out of the container there was a crunching noise. The edge of the spatula caused a crack to appear in the bottom of the frozen container. I am using the container upside down now until the ice cream cake is gone, then I will have to throw the large container out. I will be very sad it was a nice size. The description said that this container was fine for the freezer, why would it break?

I must have nuked my leftovers too long since I now have a hole in the bowl.

This helps keep you sandwiches from getting squashed either in a sack lunch or in a cooler

Some of the lids cracked easy for first few times to used. It not what I expected.
