This product itself is good. Most protein powders are usually whey. I liked the consistency of the powder.
A shaker is needed if you add the powder to room temp or cold liquids.
I recommend making a small concentrated portion hot and then adding room temp or cold water to it. It just gives it the best change not to clump.
I haven’t tried the other flavors from this brand even though they sound good.

I got this product with the intent that I would be combining it with other items to make a protein frozen icy type snack. It’s essentially a protein shake frozen snack.
I also provided this recipe under the collagen powder too.
I will be providing my recipe below for those that would like to try it or use it as inspiration for alternative ideas.
I used Vital Protein Caramel, combined with Chike Mocha Protein Powder.
At the time I was ordering, both products were in stock together and sold by Sam’s Club.
For my recipe, I typically use whole milk because it’s my preferred milk choice. I did try it with other products too. I liked all the combinations I tried with milk alternatives.
• When using half and half, the flavor becomes more mild.
• When using oat milk, the flavor added a slight oat taste.
• When using oat milk with a little bit of coffee vanilla creamer, it reminded me of that Blue Bell Oatmeal Cream Pie ice cream.
Below is the recipe.
Ingredients:
• 1/2 cup hot or boiling water
• 1 cup Milk or Milk alternative
• 3 tbsp Vital Protein Caramel Collagen Powder
• 1 Scoop (about 3 tbsp) Chike Mocha Iced Coffee Powder
Instructions:
1. Add the collagen power to the bottom of a freezer safe container.
2. Add the water and then stir until mixture is resolved.
3. Add protein powder and stir for at e and stir.
6. Put in freezer for 6 hours.
7. Whenever you want to eat it, remove it from the freezer and let it thaw for at least 20-60 minutes before consuming.
Notes:
• The colleges and protein powders don’t like to mix together. I tried both together when I first started figuring out the ratios I wanted for the recipe and they chunked a lot. You mix them separately to avoid a chunk disaster. The collagen doesn’t like to resolve in cold liquids so it has to go in first. Each added item lower the waters temperature so the order is important.
• Depending on when you actually want to eat it, will determine the time for thaw. I used this snack as a means to distract me so I let it thaw for 20 minutes and scrape away at it until it’s gone. If you wait more towards the 60 minutes, you can smash it up and enjoy it as an icy-like mixture.
• I noticed that the different milk types changed the thaw time. Half and half makes it thaw the fastest.
The mixture tastes good hot, hot then, chilled and frozen.
