I absolutely love my Windmill! It’s sleek, works great, and the customer service I received was top notch. I unfortunately had my new unit stolen from my building’s vestibule after delivery but Maggie was fantastic and they shipped me a new one quickly. I was so grateful considering this summer’s heatwaves. Installation was a breeze! I would recommend this AC to anyone looking to upgrade and improve their cooling capability in their home. Overall the unit is good. It looks nice, it cools the room well but the main issue I have is that it doesn’t remove any humidity from the air. I have the unit installed properly but it has never dripped water. This is a big problem because outside the humidity is often 70%+ and right now the room I have the unit in is 75% humidity. Ac units should pull moisture out of the air but this one doesn’t. I have it set to 68 degrees and fan speed on 3 so I’m not sure what else to do. I’ve had to add a dehumidifier to the room which seems counter productive at this point.

Love our new Windmill Whisper Tech! It was so easy to install, it looks sleek, and really is quiet. My other favorite feature is that the air points upwards and doesn’t blow directly on me when I sleep. It creates more of a central AC feel than window air. I also love that there are no visible lights in the dark. Really want to get a second unit for our downstairs.

love the clean looks, airflow design, intelligent controls and quiet operation. Bought three units and one failed after a week....BUT tech support diagnosed on a Sunday and had replacement by Thursday....impressive ! Would like to see settings return to last rather than default to ECO

We started with one unit and now have four. We bought an 1830's 3-story house that has never had central AC. We consider installing central air but the cost was astronomical. We bought one unit to tryout and loved it so we bought 3 more. Two 10,000 btu units cool our entire 1st level. We have an 8,000 btu unit in our master bedroom and a 6,500 btu in our guest bedroom. Second level stays comfortably cool. Units are way quieter than other brands we considered and they look great. They are heavy so it's a two person job to install. I love being able to adjust each unit from my phone. Only option I would like to of had are timers on the units.

I read a review for Windwill on The NYTime's Wirecutter that described the Windwill as the best looking and easiest to install unit. Apparently also great on electricity. The unit arrived by mail in 3/4 days, was installed in a snap, and looks clean. It is also very efficient! I see my electric bills on a weekly basis -- and even with the high and humid days of NYC in June - there has been little escalation to my electricity use - i.e. bill. Buying online can be hit and miss; the Windmill is a big hit!

It came well protected in the box delivered to me. It has a cool design and worked great. However it is not advertised of how heavy the unit is. The installation wasn't as easy as advertised but relieved once it was installed after a bunch of attempts. I do like this product but a 2n't person is needed especially if you aren't real strong.

I found this brand looking on a Home Depot site, but since it was a brand I was not familiar with I decided to do some more research, came upon their website and decided to order direct. The only issue I had was the bottom of the box separated from the top of the box during shipping and carrying it up the stairs it slipped and I was worried we damaged it. Thankfully it was not damaged. Install was super easy. I work from home on Zoom all day in the room it is in and my #1 requirement was that it was quiet. It is very quiet, especially on Eco. It also works really well keeping my space actually a little cooler than I need. Sometimes on Auto it does not shut off when it reaches temp which is a bit challenging, but I would rather have it cool too much than not enough, so all good.

Super quiet and good ergonomic design. I’ve been searching for a quiet window a/c. They all claim to be super quiet, but windmill is the first to deliver. So good, I’ve bought 3 and will definitely be replacing other a/c’s with Windmill as able. I love the app, although I am still in the learning phase of all the different settings it offers. I would definitely, highly, recommend.

The Windmill air conditioner is everything I had hoped it would be and MORE. I purchased it for my son's bedroom in hopes that it would be very quiet (IT IS!) and easy to schedule (IT IS!). Additionally, the unit looks better than I even thought it would - sleek, modern, and clean looking. It works incredibly well, and sounds like a white noise machine. Do not hesitate to purchase, and I will be purchasing a few more over the next few years!
