This AC unit is amazing! My husband and I moved and had to replace 3 AC units at once so I scoured the internet for the best one that also wasn't going to be a pain to install and hey, a bonus if it looked sleek! Enter Windmill. The install guide was clear, the unit looks amazing, and it cools our rooms in no time. We are SO happy with this AC unit and once we actually get the rest of our apartment unboxed, we anticipate many compliments from friends. Highly recommend!

We opted for the whisper technology upgrade. It’s very easy to install- my husband had ours installed & set up & running in less than 20 minutes. It is SO quiet- husband says it’s bad because he can now hear the rain on the unit- it’s fine he is NOT a light sleeper! And COLD! We thought our old one was cold… but apparently not so much! Our previous unit was 17 years old and ran fine until we bragged on it- then POOF it stopped working. Things have definitely changed in 17 years! We are still in our first week of ownership, but we like it, and the app is sweet!!

Happy I made the purchase, this AC is nice and quiet and keeps my house nice and cool . I especially like the app with the ability to control it from wherever I am. I would like to thank Windmill for taking the time to make such a quality air conditioner.

I bought 4 of these units for our bedrooms and these are by far the best AC units we’ve ever owned! They work great, keep the rooms cool, SO quiet, and they also look amazing!! We are beyond happy with these and we tell all of our family and friends to buy them. Love them!!

My wife and I own a two-story 1926 bungalow. Our first floor is open from the living room, to dining room, to the kitchen. I needed a window unit that could effectively cool these three rooms with the help of a pedestal fan (800-900 sq. ft.) We purchased the 12K BTU WhisperTech™ which is rated for 550 sq. ft. This unit is nothing short of amazing. With the help of said pedestal fan to push the air throughout our first floor, we can keep the temperature around 73-74 on a 85+ degree day. The unit looks good in our space, isn't terribly loud, and was extremely easy to install. I would highly recommend Windmill to anyone in the market.

I bought the larger one for my living room and the smaller one for the bedroom. They both look and work amazing. Set up was super easy and I love that I can control it from my phone. I also bought the teal color cover as it matches my color theme in my bedroom. It's definitely more quiet then conventional air conditioners. It hasn't been too hot her in CT but the few times I have used them it cooled things down quickly. The only thing I cant figure out is where and how to install the carbon filter. I scan the QR code on the filter and it doesn't take me to instructions for installation, it takes me to an order form to order more.

I love my Windmill. It is quieter than the one I had before, it cools better, and it looks nicer. Also, it fits in my 39" window (wider than specified.) I asked if there was an adapter I could buy for the larger window. Francesca answered almost immediately even though it was Sunday: "...accordion side panels, which can go from edge to edge for up to 40" wide...the cosmetic foam panels that we send along with the unit to cover/hide the accordion panels for a sleeker look... can only cover up to 38", hence there would be a small gap exposing a small bit of the accordion panels" but not an actual opening for flies to get in. So, I ordered it, and it arrived in no time. I was able to install it (with a helper--it takes a holder and a window closer) before the heatwave that hit here last week. Even with the 1/2" gaps on either side it looks pretty sleek. I'm very happy I with this a/c unit!

My 6,000 BTU Windmill A/C was replaced by Windmill even though it was a couple of months out of warranty. It had an E2 error that, even though the unit blew plenty of cold air, I could only control it with the remote or Android app. Customer service was helpful in walking me through the troubleshooting process and when I was unable to clear the code, the said they would send a new unit. It arrived in a couple of days. THAT IS GOOD COMPANY SUPPORT. And while I was disappointed that the unit threw a code at all, I was thrilled at the positive company response. You won't get that with LG or GE. Nope.

I was a bit puzzled about how to install the air conditioner with my vinyl window frame, but received very prompt customer support. I love the air conditioner. My two favourite features are the smartphone app (being able to adjust the mode and temperature when I'm not at home to make sure my dog stays cool is amazing), and the fact that this unit blows air up rather than horizontally. Definitely recommend!

Amazing Customer Service - I have had to reach out a couple of times but they were always so prompt, so respectful. It really makes you feel valued as a customer. I hope they always make AC's because I'm forever loyal. Even my cats sleep better with these AC's
