This is one of the best Air Conditioners I have ever owned and I have been buying them for a long time. I had a problem with the first one I bought, online customer service and I went through a series of system checks we found the compressor was faulty. Two days later I had a new Air Conditioner at my door. This one works like a dream so quite.

I’m so happy with my AC! It’s so clean looking and quiet. The app works really well and Alexa pairs with it quickly and easily. But honestly, the icing on the cake was the customer service! Someone got back to me within minutes of an email. If my apartment was bigger I’d get more! So worth it.

My 8000 btu model arrived on my front porch quickly and without incident. The install was much easier than any of my previous window ac units and much safer as well. The unit is pretty good looking, cools efficiently and above all, quietly. I did have difficulty with the app in that I couldn’t load it. It’s not a big loss because phone control is not a big issue for me. I love that the indicator lights shut off until one presses the remote. I am pleased with this purchase.

This AC is something else. Needed this for an office that gets poor HVAC circulation. The unit cools the office several degrees within a few minutes and keeps up with the computer equipment in the room as well. Install is super easy, much easier than with a typical unit. I was up and running within 5-10 minutes from box opening to unit turning on. The wifi feature is convenient to adjust temp when not at home. The compressor is also quiet and the eco mode seems to sip electricity while keeping a comfortable temperature. Price is worth it!

I'm pleased to have a working AC... Yesterday was the first day I turned it on. The several different sounds it makes are distracting. Will I get used to them? That's why a 3 star. I was expecting a 9x quieter AC as was advertised. The staff were / are so nice... I really hope these are only the break-in period sounds. Joan

Overall very good. Looks great, easy install and amazing customer service. The noise is not as quiet as I had hoped and is actually quieter when you have the fan set to 2 rather than 1. My much larger LG dual inverter that cools my downstairs is quieter but doesn't look as night and doesn't have a way to turn of the LED lights so for the bedroom this is pretty good.

The Windmill a/c is great- it's quite elegant looking and cools very well. It is overall much more quiet than a regular a/c but does still have a bit of a vibration sound even with the whisper tech; I had returned the initial unit because I didn't think it was supposed to make that sound, but the second one also makes that sound, so it's just the way it is but it's still really great.

I absolutely love my Windmill AC! Absolutely incredible design and looks fantastic in my apartment. It is so easy to use and really quiet. I also like that I feel that my air is actually cleaner in my apartment from using it as opposed to the old bulky AC I used to have. Could not recommend this product more.

Installed AC, set for 68 deg. Compressor runs constantly, room gets down to 63, totally freezing, compressor still runs! Tried again - set for 76 deg. Compressor running constantly, gets down to 69 deg. Still running! Totally disappointed. Bought based on Wirecutter review. I expect this device to keep temperature, not make it super super cold. Don't know how to solve problem.

You often find products these days that are upgrades of common things we know and love but are brilliant with their beautiful design and marketing and as a designer I'm a sucker for all of it so the Windmill ads caught my eye. Ultimately, I was intrigued by the selling points so we finally decided to get one and I was really hoping it would be the real deal. And it is, that's why we got another one! We love how sleek our Windmills look, how quiet they are, and how cooling they are. In fact the one in our living room also cools the hallway and kitchen that are connected via separate open doorways which is extremely impressive. Windmill helped us get professional installers, for our first unit in the living room, because we live on a busy street and needed to have a safety bracket installed. The professional installation was far from cheap but an A+ experience. We thought about doing a pro installation for the second AC unit in the bedroom but we decided not to because we didn't love that it would take away our choice to remove it in the off months. 99% chance we'll leave it in but we liked the idea of having the removal option since that room only has one window so doesn't otherwise have great ventilation and I love a good natural breeze. I was nervous about installing it ourselves but it was as easy as any other AC I've had if not easier given the well designed simple instructions. I don't normally write reviews but have been so impressed with the Windmill ACs we got this season and thought this info might be helpful for you if you're considering it. I highly recommend.
