The build quality it’s excellent and I really recommend it to anyone who’s a gamer and it’s looking better experience in mobile games.

Very comfortable

It’s marketed as something that you can access your console games on, but realistically it’s just a controller. The app is like a home for all the games you can play but mostly need subscriptions for. A lot of it is Xbox cloud gaming which you need a game pass subscription for most of it, there’s also g-force now which is another subscription for games. Except for the free games that you can find in cloud gaming or on the App Store that actually have controller compatibility there’s not much to use it for. There is a PS Remote Play app, its requirements are that your PlayStation has to be connected to the WiFi which means it needs to be on or you need to turn on a setting so that it stays connected in rest mode, so no turning off the PlayStation. You also need to have a stable WiFi connection or it won’t be able to connect. I’m not 100% sure about the range on the app, but one way or another it’s still all possible without the backbone. The backbone is a controller that has a phone holder, it works well for what it is, but if you don’t have the subscriptions and the only thing you can do is use the PlayStation app or find games on the App Store, you’re better off just using a Bluetooth connection for a PlayStation controller and if you care about the phone holder you can buy one for like $10. G-force and the game pass are like the only things holding you back from the full potential, so unless you’re spending $30 a month or are going to start to, just carry around an actual controller.

Too small. The buttons are so close and tight on the controller, it gives you hand/finger fatigue after hours of use. The conscience of small size and never having to charge it is outweighed by the compact design and overall functionality. Like the concept but it falls short. I’m returning it and buying the PS Portal.

Ever since I started to play games on my mobile phone with this unexpected controller from backbone that is PlayStation edition, it reminds me of how I loved to play games on my old psp. Good times and I love this and will continue using this until I get my upgraded ps5 console so I can play more games on ps5 here and there.

i like it but i want to love it. i cant until the issues with connecting too my ps5 for remote play are respolved. not only that but the screen ratio on my phone when playing PS5 remote play only utilizes about 80% of the screen horizontally. fix those 2 things and its 5 stars
