[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Genuinely impressed with these paper plates. As a person who values sustainability, I was happy to see they were home compostable. They stood up against “greasy” foods no problem. Nothing soaked through the plate at all. It didn’t feel unbalanced or flimsy like a typical paper plate. Being that it was 9 inches and deep dish, I felt it left room for a lot of food. The plates had a nice design pattern and would be perfect for a cook out or holiday event. Even after using a plate once I honestly felt like it could be used again. The best part was, I didn’t have to do dishes after our meal and not only that, but I didn’t have to feel bad knowing it was an eco-friendly option!

I ordered my regular Dixie Ultra dinner plates and they subbed this for my regular plates and I was so glad they did it! Otherwise I wouldn’t have ever known that they even existed. They are so nice to have when you are eating anything that has sauce or a gravy. Or in the South, we love our “pot liquor and cornbread “. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how sturdy these deep plates are. They are perfect for a meal of soup, chili or stew. They do not get soggy like most plates do. I love the pattern on them. These plates are sturdy enough to give the dog leftovers in. She doesn't tear them up.

Tried these with maybe an Ibotta or coupon offer right when they were new, oh, gosh!, I love them! I use them especially for special meals or entertaining hosting events, but gosh, sometimes those special meals are just that I made a nice pasta or salad or Sunday meal, lol! The meal looks so nice on the plate and no spilling while serving up or enjoying the meal. We buy them in addition to our regular Dixie classic paper plates. The designs are nice too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dixie Ultra Deep Dish plates are awesome. I am so glad they came up with this idea. I'm always a little suspicious of paper plates so I decided to put these plates through some tests: First, I used them to hold spaghetti with a thin tomato sauce. That should soak through, right? Nope. I got to enjoy a nice deep plate of saucy spaghetti with no worry of soaking through or slopping over the sides. Next I tried them out with discada. If you are at all familiar with this dish you know it is very, very greasy. Again, no soaking through the plate. The higher sides of the plate allowed me to make a high pile of food keeping all the yummy goodness on the plate instead of my lap. My final test was a serving of clam chowder. Again, the plate worked great with no mess and I see how this product is going to make my life a little easier. These plates are plenty sturdy to support your meal but still thin enough to be light and easy to carry. The finish on the plate seals it against liquids soaking through so no worries of ending up with a soggy mess. Like other Dixie products there is a variety of pretty colors/patterns to help you select a product right for your event. I am really happy Dixie came up with this new design for a deep dish plate. It answers several of the problems I have experienced with paper plate dining. From now on I will always have a pack or two of these plates in my cupboard ready for when I need them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i recently got these are they are very durable! They are deep enough to make them as a plate bowl! Good for parties or even when your lazy and dont want to do dishee. I highly recommend will be purchasing again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was going to have some family over for a picnic and i bought the Dixie Ultra Deep Dish 9 in plates and i am so glad i did. With the amount of food that i was serving i really needed a plate that would hold up and i picked out the right one. These dishes have a nice pattern on them but most of all they are strong. They are extra deep so they held both hot and cold foods great!

Most paper products are flimsy you can't go wrong with Dixie they are probably in my opinion the best on the market and these deep dish ones are perfect for my family we like to have rigatoni and potato salad pasta salad things that regular plates tend to be more difficult to eat off of these are perfect no more mess easy cleanup if you're having any kind of get together I totally recommend giving these a try especially if you are trying to keep food off the floor and on the plate.
