These pill pockets are hard as rocks! I am using them and my pet will chew them up but nothing like the original pill pockets! I’m just spoiled with you having previously stocking the original pill pocket brand that are soft and pliable

They are large enough for a capsule and a small pill. Sometime they are flattened so I simply insert a pencil or scissors to enlarge the hole. They are soft and easily form around the pill.

I returned this pill pockets, they were hard and falling apart looking like expired but the bag clearly said 2025 on the expiring day, I went back to my trusted pill pockets

For us, they’re really good. My dog adores them. I have no problem getting him to take little pills or a bigger omega oil capsule. Yes they aren’t as soft as the Milk Bone brand but they seem to be equally as yummy. So we love the value and the confidence that our dog is getting his medicine on time.

I’ve tried wrapping pills in everything imaginable to get medication down my dog’s throat, and every time ended up having to shove them down her unwilling throat. The price of these pill treats seemed high and I didn’t think they’d help, but my son insisted I try them. Guess what? THEY WORKED! The taste must be really strong, because my girl ate them without hesitation pills and all—-even would watch me put her pills in the treats and only be excited she was getting more!

These “Pill Treats” did not work with our dog. She could still smell the medicine and refuses to eat the treats. She will even pick them out of other food and carry them away before dropping them. We even tried plugging the pill holes with peanut butter. She apparently either smells the meds or the treat smells bad, she will absolutely not eat them. We had better luck using beggin strips with peanut butter to hide the pill.

Terrible, especially for small dogs. Maybe a giant dog could gulp these down with a pill inside, but small dogs will not be able to chew the extremely hard, chewy exterior without choking. My dog would eat them, but it took so long to chew that he simply spit out the pill. So, he got a hard, chewy treat and I had a wasted (expensive) prescription Apoquel pill on the floor.

Great product at an excellent value. Makes giving your dog meds easy. If you have ever purchased these at a pet supply store you will immediately see the savings you get by purchasing them at Sam’s. However I purchased these on clearance at my local club. I hope the will continue to be available online.

I was hesitant on this purchase because of reviews mentioning the hardness of the pockets. I find them to be very good and soft. My 80 pound dog has no trouble and for my 23 pound dog I break a smaller piece and shape it around the pill. Both dogs enjoy their pill time with these. I have purchased these over and over now.

Not happy with this inferior product that is the only one you can get now it seems. Dog still likes them but not near as effective in any other way especially compared to pill pockets. Plus the cats try and tear into the package which was never a problem with the others.
