Put 20lbs if ice into the cooler and it didn't even last 2 hours. Most of the ice melted. If you tap on the cooler, it's pretty much hollow. The wheels are too small and can't roll anywhere but on the concrete pave-way. Would not recommend it at all.....

Very disappointed with this cooler, bought it for a weekend camping trip, loaded cooler with cold drinks and 20 plus pounds of ice 5 hours later almost all the ice was gone! Hade to buy ice everyday. First time a igloo let us down, Sorry we bought this

Bought this cooler as it was rated up to 4 days. They forgot to mention that it had to be below zero outside for it to actually do this. I can get maybe a day and a half if I'm lucky and we haven't reached 80 degrees on our camping trips. Save your money and but a better brand.

I purchase this cooler online and select shipping to home When it arrived, it's telescope handle isn't working I don't understand why Sam's workers choose worst stuff for online orders that customers have to come to store just to return that item ? It's like double hassle Pay shipping then again go to store for returning I wouldn't recommend anyone buying online & pickup in store or do shipping

This This Igloo cooler is the worst cooler I have ever owned. It will not keep ice for more than 1 day. This is at temperatures in the 80's and kept out of direct sunlight. I complained to igloo and their response was it has been tested to meet their ice retention claims.

I'd rate this 3.5 stars if I could. Bought this cooler 3 years ago and it has held up well over the ~3 car camping trips per season. It would retain an ice sufficiently for these 2-3 day trips when filled with canned drinks and cold food, without prechilling. At the time I had only paid $35, so for these reasons I am decently okay with this cooler. The negatives of this cooler all have to do with the telescoping handle. As others have pointed out, it does not go back down easily or elegantly. Parts of it get jammed and you have to wrestle with it for it to go back down completely - sometimes it feels like you are breaking or solving a puzzle. The handle also needs to go down completely to be able to allow the cooler door open all the way. As such, I rarely rely on the wheeled functionality and only if I absolutely need to wheel it by myself a decent distance away. Otherwise, I carry it by the sides (solo or with a helper) if it is not too far. I guess that speaks positively about the plastic grab handles which seem to hold up fine, but can also be a bit scary to rely on them. Waiting for this thing to crap out on me completely so I can replace it with something functionally better, but also looking into ways to fix it's shortcomings... Let's see which comes first.

Good Cooler

Bought this cooler to keep on a houseboat (under shade at all times). Retractable handle has been used less than 10 times and already takes 2 people to pull it out and push it in. Not to mention that the screw that holds the handle and cooler lid in place had came loose, causing the lid to come off each time you open it. Thought Igloo was a reputable brand, but they dropped the ball on this one. Would not recommend to anyone!
